Mojang will soon be releasing the new Minecraft 1.20 update. This update will bring loads of new blocks, items, mobs, and biomes. The Swedish game company has been teasing new features one after another for quite some time now. This indicates that the update drop is near. Hence, players must know what kinds of new farms can be created to get these new items.
Farms are certain contraptions that can be made to yield massive amounts of resources. Items can either be obtained by mobs or by the block itself. Almost all farms need some kind of redstone contraption to make them automatic. Here are some new farms that can be created when the Minecraft 1.20 update drops.

Cherry Wood Farm, Piglin Head Farm, and 3 other new farms that can be built in the Minecraft 1.20 update
1) Cherry Wood farm
Cherry wood is a new wood type that will grow in the new Cherry Grove biome. For a long time, players have been waiting for new kinds of wood; hence, cherry wood can be farmed.
There are several tree-farming redstone contraptions that can automatically grow trees using saplings and then use a TNT duper to blast them. Finally, a flowing water area can take the blasted blocks and store them in a collection area. The saplings can be collected from the storage and fed back into the contraption so that more trees can be grown on the farm.
2) Pink Petal farm
Pink Petals are incomplete decorative blocks that will grow in the new Cherry Grove biome. Since they are one of the cutest decorative blocks and can be easily obtained by breaking them with hands, tools, or even water, players can create a farm out of them.
This can be done by simply using a dispenser that will use bone meal on grass blocks to grow pink petals. Furthermore, water can be dispensed, which will break them. Eventually, they can be stored in chests. Players can also break the pink petals manually with their hands.
3) Piglin farm
Piglin head is a new mob head that players can obtain by blowing Piglins up using charged creepers. Though a farm can be created to get loads of these new mob heads, it will be the most difficult to manage.
In the Overworld realm, players need to create a charged creeper farm, then carefully transfer them to the Nether realm, where they need to create a place to gather piglins and blow them up using the charged creeper.
4) Torchflower and pitcher plant farms
Sniffer is an ancient mob in the game that can dig out the seeds of rare and unique plants. Hence, they can be used to create a manual farm where several of them dig out loads of seeds, which can then be transferred to a farm automatically managed by a farmer villager. This way, players can grow and harvest torchflower and pitcher plants.
5) Bamboo farm
Though a bamboo farm is not new to the game, it will have a lot of new uses and importance after the 1.20 update drops. With the update, Mojang is bringing yet another wood set: bamboo wood. This can be made with regular bamboo found in the world. Hence, if players want to craft loads of new bamboo wood blocks, they will need a bamboo farm that can constantly grow bamboo for them.
