Two popular Minecraft creators resign from Hermitcraft, leaving fans confused and surprised

Two big creators have mysteriously left the popular Hermitcraft SMP series, and the gaming community is still reeling from the confusion. Without any concrete information, fans noticed that all content pertaining to iskall85 and Stressmonster101 was promptly removed from the server, banners, and the website's sidebar.

Hermitcraft drops cryptic post to announce the departure of popular creators

On November 23, the official Hermitcraft account on X dropped a rather cryptic post, indicating that it had received multiple complaints from the community about one of its oldest partners, iskall85. The post further stated that an internal investigation had been conducted and the accusations were found to be credible.

The post also informed readers that iskall85 was asked for an explanation, and in response, he resigned. It further stated that the official Hermitcraft team will not be sharing any more details out of respect for the privacy of those involved.

The entire gaming community went into a frenzy when they discovered that along with iskall85, his popular creator and long-term friend Stressmonster101 had resigned as well. Fans were quick to notice that the Hermitcraft wiki had been updated and their characters as well as names were removed from the official website.

Founded by YouTuber Generikb, Hermitcraft is a massively popular whitelisted Minecraft community and SMP with many vanilla and modded seasons. The invite-only community has gained massive traction and interest over the years.

It was later taken over and is currently administered by Xisumavoid, one of the most popular Minecraft creators, and is currently in its 10th season. Even Xisumavoid has not made any statement regarding the situation apart from reposting the original post on X.

Additionally, many fans realized that Grian, another popular hermit and long-standing member of the SMP, had also removed iskall85 from the title and thumbnail of his recent videos.

Most creators and members of the Hermitcraft SMP have reposted the original post without adding much context or reason for the sudden departure.

Why did iskall85 and Stressmonster101 leave Hermitcraft? Possible reasons explored

The official team as well as members have not provided any context or information as to why the two creators left one of the most popular communities with millions of combined video views. Fans had recently noticed that iskall85 had been posting less frequently, and amid those concerns, this sudden departure adds fuel to the fire.

As for Stressmonster101, popularly known as Stress, no information has been provided as to her reason for following Iskall's suit. Some fans and players speculate that Stress was close to the latter and might have resigned in solidarity:
