Last Wish is one of the most complex raids in Destiny 2, in which a fireteam of six Guardians travels to the Dreaming City to kill the last Ahamkara, Riven. The raid consists of some complex mechanics. Not just that, even the final boss fight is so difficult that many players choose to cheese it instead of completing it as it's meant to be.

Apart from the 1000 Voices Exotic, the raid had some cool weapons that unfortunately became obsolete because of the power creep in Destiny 2. However, in their recent weapon tuning blog, Bungie hinted at an upcoming weapon rework for the Last Wish raid.

As mentioned in the blog, the developers were looking at the Tyranny of Heaven Legendary Bow. This is one of the few weapons that players can get their hands on by completing different encounters in the Last Wish raid.

According to Bungie, Tyranny of Heaven didn't stand up against the other bows in the game. They further mentioned reworking this weapon because they were looking into the other weapons anyway. Although they've said nothing conclusive about the same, there's a high possibility that every weapon featured in this raid will receive a much-needed rework. There's also a possibility that they get their very own Origin Trait.

Furthermore, introducing the crafting mechanic in the Witch Queen expansion has allowed players to craft their own weapons. When writing this article, only four raids feature craftable weapons: Deep Stone Crypt, King's Fall, Root of Nightmares, and Vow of the Disciple in Destiny 2. Given that Bungie is considering the Last Wish raid weapons, there's a chance that players will be able to craft them as well.

Not only will this make the said weapons more relevant at this point, but it'll also give players an incentive to run the raid more. That said, seeing if the raid gets a rework in Destiny 2 Season of the Deep will be interesting. A few bugs and a few outdated elements continue to be present in the activity. Some notorious bugs can be found in the Queenswalk encounter, which frustrates many players.

As Destiny 2 Season of the Deep is only a few hours away, it'll be worth seeing what changes Bungie plans on implementing in this activity. The developers might as well end up addressing the Riven cheese. Without the cheese, the Riven boss fight is one of the most challenging boss fights to have been included in this title.
