Destiny 2 Season 20 will end with the upcoming reset, as Bungie has plans to add several sandbox updates next season. While multiple teases and data mines hint at the return of old locations, players can expect Bungie to release a trailer a few hours before the season's launch. The upcoming reset will feature the implementation of new features alongside a new Dungeon three days after the launch.

Devil's Lair will be the first Strike to appear in the Nightfall pool, alongside Rift and Momentum Control within the Crucible. The following article lists all the upcoming content scheduled to release in Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Week 1.

1) Season of the Deep launch

Destiny 2 Lightfall's second season will finally launch under the "Season of the Deep" title, as players are meant to arrive on the forgotten planet of Titan. While the exact model of the seasonal Artifact hasn't been revealed yet, this link will provide additional details on every upcoming perk.

Season 21 will also introduce the implementation of Deepsight, focusing on craftable weapons, Exotic focusing, and multiple reworks. Like other entries, the Season of the Deep will run for approximately three months. Players can monitor Bungie's official page regarding the season after it launches.

2) New Dungeon

Destiny 2 Season of the Deep's new Dungeon will be going live on May 26, at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET. One of Bungie's blog posts on May 11 shared some interesting details regarding the Dungeon, as the company officially revealed the release date and time. However, the name and the overall theme remain unknown.

3) Devil's Lair

Devil's Lair will be the first featured Strike in the Nightfall pool, as players will gain access to four difficulties barring Grandmaster. The enemies present in this mission will include a mixture of Hive and Fallen enemies, calling for Overload and Barrier Champions.

It is important to note that Bungie won't be increasing the power level next season, so Grandmaster Nightfall can be expected to appear in the fourth week, on June 20. Hence, players will get a new Strike with the Grandmaster difficulty, without having to play it once with the other difficulty modes.

4) Clash and Momentum Control

Clash is a classic deathmatch game mode, where 12 players compete to win with the most kills by the end of a match. On the other hand, the Momentum Control mode works like a standard Control, in addition to a significant increase in weapon damage.
