Dune Awakening has both hard cash (Solari) and what is essentially a bank account (Solari Credits). Money in Funcom’s latest survival MMO has a bit of a balancing act to it. You don’t want to carry too much of it because you lose some on death (all of it in a sandworm death). However, in Hagga Basin, people don’t take Solari Credits; you can only acquire goods and services with cash in hand: Solari.
That said, it is still worth it to bank some or most of your money so that you have Solari Credits in Dune Awakening, especially in the late game. Some of the best parts and equipment in the game aren’t bought with cash — only with Solari Credits. Here’s how you can get that set up.
How to bank your money to get Solari Credits in Dune Awakening
If you want to bank your money for Solari Credits in Dune Awakening, you first need to head to Harko Village or Arrakeen. This means you need to either pay 2,500 Solari for a flight to one of those two social hubs, or you need to already have access to an Ornithopter or at least a friend willing to fly you around.

When you’re ready to deposit some cash, bring it with you, at least 200 Solari worth, and head to either the Arrakeen Guild Bank or Harko Village Guild Bank, found in the screenshots above. If this is your first time doing this, it will complete the short Banking Solaris quest as well. Conveniently, it's in the same building as the CHOAM Exchange (auction house).
Inform the banker that you’d like to Deposit, and however much cash you deposit is how many Solari Credits you have. The downside to this is that you cannot spend Solari Credits in Hagga Basin. However, you can spend Solari Credits in the social hubs — that’s all they take. No cash, only credit.
That creates a bit of a balancing act, as I said earlier. You want to make sure you’ve got some money to use in the wilds of Arrakis because they won’t take credit. You can withdraw your money from the Guild Bank at any time, provided you can get back to Harko or Arrakeen.
This is another system that would be made much better if it were available to do at the various Trading Posts in the game, but I understand that it doesn’t quite fit the theme of the MMO. Just think of it this way: Solari Credits are like paying with a Debit card, but not everyone accepts these.
