If you’ve been wondering where Dune Awakening’s Auction house is, you wouldn’t be the only one. Called the CHOAM Exchange, it’s pretty far away from your average, casual player. Unless you’ve been farming piles of Solari, or have an ornithopter, it’s going to be out of your reach. To make it worse, it’s entirely possible that the item you’re trying to buy won't be there, or people won’t buy what you’re selling, making the whole trip a waste.
If you’re struggling to find the Auction house either way in Dune Awakening, we’re here to get you there. Hopefully, the items you’re trying to buy/sell, whether they’re Hotlzman Actuators or Carbide Scraps, will be available.
Where to find the Auction house in Dune Awakening
You can find Auction houses (The Exchange) in both Arrakeen and Harko Village in Dune Awakening. That means you either need an Ornithopter, to fly out of the Hagga Basin map, or you need 2,500 Solari for the round-trip flight at any of the game’s Trading Post. That’s a lot of money to use a service that might not even work out for you.

You can find the locations of both CHOAM Exchanges/Auction houses in the image above for Dune Awakening. There are some issues with the Auction house though, causing many players to not even bother using it. The first is that you have to pay 2,500 Solari simply to go, unless you have an Ornithopter.
You also have to carry everything you wish to sell with you, causing inventory issues. If you’re on a busy server, there may also be a wait to return home, which can be a frustrating problem all on its own. You also have to remember this is a PVP game, so it’s likely people are still very much hoarding all their resources.
I think it’s possible that the Auction house would get more use if it were available at the Trading posts, too. There’s also the fact that many players may not even know the CHOAM Exchange even exists.
Other MMOs have thriving auction house systems, because they’re in locations that are easy for everyone to reach. I know Funcom’s MMO is supposed to be a brutal survival-type game, but making the market board just a bit easier to access would result in more players using it.
