The Unfixed Crysknife in Dune Awakening is a blade of myth and legend. This short blade is not just another weapon but a part of Arrakis itself. Created out of necessity rather than want and need, it is a sacred weapon and status symbol for the Fremen. However, in this reality, anyone brave enough can acquire it.
But enough talk, by now you're eager to know how to craft this unique blade, and all you need are two resources. One of them is easy to obtain, while the other requires a sacrifice.
Here's how to go about crafting the Unfixed Crysknife in Dune Awakening.
How to craft the Unfixed Crysknife in Dune Awakening
The first thing you'll need to craft the Unfixed Crysknife in Dune Awakening is Plant Fiber. This can be found on rocky terrain. Keep an eye out when you're traversing solid ground or climbing a rock formation. If the odds are in your favor, you'll come across more than enough Plant Fiber to last you a while.
The next item on the list is a bit more challenging to obtain. It involves a sacrifice, more specifically, yours. To get the Worm Tooth, you'll need to get eaten by a Sandworm (yes, I'm being serious).

Unlike the Fremen, you have neither the skill nor the resources to kill or capture a Sandworm. Hence, being eaten alive is the only way to get a Worm Tooth. It's not as bad as you think. Just remember to leave your loot back at base before running about on the sands to attract a Sandworm.
Once you've gone Plant Fiber (x1) and Worm Tooth (x1), you will need a Personal or a General Fabricator to craft the Unfixed Crysknife. You will also need to unlock the schematic, which falls under Combat in Iron Products. It'll take some time to get there, but it'll be worth it once the weapon is in your hands.
Is there a Fixed Crysknife in Dune Awakening?

Unlike in the novels, there doesn't seem to be any schematic for Fixed Crysknife. This is likely because once players unlock the Unfixed Crysknife, they won't be putting it away anytime soon. This powerful short blade will be useful to any build, especially if you unlock blade-related skills in the Swordmaster and Bene Gesserit skill trees.
Nevertheless, it would be nice to have the option to craft the Fixed Crysknife as it will increase the game's immersion, but in general, it's not required. More styles for the Crysknife would be nice, but as it stands, there's more than enough for players to craft in-game and keep busy.
