In Dune Awakening, while Arrakis may be a barren planet, it's not completely void of fauna and flora. If anything, life finds a way to survive the extreme conditions and hostile environment. Some species of flora thrive in the desert heat and even provide resources for you to collect. One such plant is the Arrakeen Agave.

Native to Arrakis, this plant can survive in the harshest of environments, and its seeds are particularly useful for those looking to explore radioactive zones. You'll still need a Radiation Suit to ensure you don't grow an extra pair of arms, but the seeds can and will give you an edge. On that note, here's how to get Agave Seeds in Dune Awakening

Much like all other plant-based resources in-game, you'll have to find them growing out in the desert and harvest them. One of the best locations is west of the Eastern Shield Wall. You can find them growing next to rock outcrops and around large rock formations in general.

They have a distinct look, so it'll be hard to miss spotting them, especially since they are taller than the characters. Each Arrakeen Agave planet will give you five (5) Agave Seeds when harvested. They are found in clusters within a region, so if you plan on stockpiling this resource, it shouldn't be too difficult.

What are Agave Seeds used for in Dune Awakening

In short, Agave Seeds are akin to Rad-X from the Fallout franchise. They are used in the recipe to create Iodine Pills, which help in shielding the body from radiological exposure. This will allow you to explore radioactive zones with ease.

If you've just unlocked the basic Radiation Suit Mk4, you can pop a few Iodine Pills to boost your resistance to radiation. To craft it, you'll need to have a Survival Fabricator along with the following resources:

Agave Seeds (x10)
Duraluminum Ingot (x1)
Water (x170)
Time (3s)

Iodine Pills will be useful for exploring POIs like The Anomaly that lies within the Vermillius Gap region. You'll be able to explore the area without much hassle and get access to Kel's Stillsuit Unique schematic and other good loot.
