Whether they are legacy mounts, or cash shop items that are no longer available, Blizzard has been giving away a wealth of very interesting items through Amazon’s Prime Gaming system. This time, you don’t even have to watch other streamers - it’s so much easier than that. If you want this gorgeous, armored bat mount, we’ll go over what you need to know.

However, this is a limited-time offer, so don’t delay on picking up your Armored Broodwing in World of Warcraft. Not only was it a cash shop mount, it’s one that you can no longer pick up in the game, whether or not you have money - unless it appears on the Black Market in the future.

Claiming Armored Broodwing mount for free in World of Warcraft via Prime Gaming

Starting on October 24, 2023, Prime Gaming revealed that you can unlock the Armored Broodwing mount for free in World of Warcraft. You won’t have to do any gift subs on Twitch or watch specific streamers either; this one is so much easier than that.

The Armored Broodwing mount will be available in Amazon Prime Gaming’s rewards section from October 24, 2023, until November 28, 2023. That means you’ve got well over a month to claim this now-extinct mount in World of Warcraft. Once upon a time, it cost $25 USD to purchase it, like most of the other real-money mounts, but those days are gone.

How to claim Armored Broodwing mount:

• Log onto Amazon Prime Gaming’s Prime Gaming Rewards page.
• If you do not see it on your main screen, click the search bar and look for “World of Warcraft.”
• Click “Claim Loot” button.
• Log into Retail WoW, and pick any of your characters that have access to mounts.
• Click Collections tab.
• Click the Present box at the top, and select “Unwrap.”

You will now have access to the Armored Broodwing mount on all of your retail characters in World of Warcraft. Unfortunately, this does not extend to Classic, Classic Hardcore, or Lich King Classic.

However, if you are not an Amazon Prime member, you cannot unlock this mount for free. First, you’ll need to make both an Amazon Prime and Twitch account, and then link them. Connecting them is as easy as following this link. Once you’ve done that, you can connect your Battle.net and Twitch accounts.

Connecting Twitch and Battle.net

• Log into Twitch.
• Open settings, click Connections tab.
• Look for “Twitch,” and click the “Connect” button.
• Follow prompt to fill in your login information.
• This links the two accounts together.

After you’ve done this, you simply follow the steps above, and you can unlock the mount for your own collection.
