Hanabi Hyuga

Hanabi is the younger sister of Hinata and she always looked up to her more else sister and always wanted to spend with her. Due to her duties as the future heiress of the Hyuga clan, it was quite hard for both the siblings to spend time with each other.

Seeing how Hinata was so strong and yet so kind to others around her, Hanabi got inspired to be like her elder sister. She always wondered why Hinata used to sneak out to watch Naruto, who was a social outcast at that time.

During Hanabi's and Hinata's sparring session, Hanabi began to shine and amazed everyone with how she was almost as strong as her elder sister despite their age difference. Later on, Hinata's strength began to get questioned and their grandfather believed that Hanabi should be named the heiress to the Hyuga clan instead of Hinata.

A duel was going to take place between the sisters to decide the future of the Hyuga clan. During the duel, Hinata saw an opening but was hesitant on attacking her younger sister which allowed Hanabi to counterattack and win the duel.

As Hanabi showed more talent and was more promising than her elder sister, their father decided that Hanabi should be named the next heiress of the Hyuga clan. This decision was the start of the hardcore training schedule for Hanabi.

As Hanabi continued training under her father and believing her grandfather's words that they were bound to one fate only. She became more determined than ever to prove that she was worthy of leading her clan as their future heiress.

Hanabi is quiet, polite and a respectful girl. She opens to people more easily than Hinata and is more confident than her. Hanabi adored Hinata and always wanted to spend time with her older sister a lot and cared a lot for her. She was sad when she got to know about the harsh conditions Hinata had to go through.

When Hanabi knew about the harsh conditions that her clan had lived through she knew that he had to face the same consequences as she was expected to lead the clan next. She became more stronger and headstrong as she did not want to let down her clan as the future leader.

She had great respect for Naruto and she convinced herself that she can forge her own path of life. She was also quite supportive of Hinata's feelings for Naruto. She is also known as a fashionable young woman with extravagant taste. As she got older she took her duties as a jonin and future clan head very seriously.

She was also known to be a strict teacher at times. She always showers Boruto and Himawari with a lot of love and affection whenever they come over to visit the Hyuga estate. She also encourages them to be independent and only to ask for help when they've tried every solution that was there. She takes pride in her cooking too and has a strong compassion for Boruto and wants to see him succeed in life. She has also developed a bond with Konohamaru too.

As the leader of Team 15, Hanabi is quite strict and tough with her students. Whenever her students disobeyed or put themselves in unnecessary risk, Hanabi can become quite ruthless and hostile. Even though she's hard on her students, Hanabi strives to help her students achieve their full potential and even enjoys spending time with them.

Hanabi is a young woman with long, black hair which reaches till her back and she has long parted bangs. She had large white eyes like her clan's other members. Her eyes also have a hint of lilac in them too and she resembles her father a lot. As a child she is seen wearing a sleeveless, blue V neck shirt with mesh armor underneath with blue shorts and sandals.

As a teen, Hanabi had cut her hair short which symmetrically framed her face. She wore a modified version of her original outfit and added a tan vest jacket with white wristbands on both hands. She wore the standard shinobi sandals with white bands underneath around her ankles.

After the Fourth Great Shinobi War, her hair had grown longer and was tied in a lower ponytail with a white ribbon. She wears a tan-colored long kimono with red-orange flames designed on it with a matching knee-length skirt with a white obi around her waist. Years later she has also grown very tall and currently, she wears a yellow kimono blouse with a traditional long red skirt held closed by a simple white obi.

Hanabi learned by seeing her sister train hard and with a lot of hard work, she surpassed her sister. She is quite skilled in hand-to-hand combat and also became very proficient in Gentle fist, thanks to her father's rigorous training schedules. She can also perform her clan's hidden techniques.

Not only that, she possesses the Byakugan, a kekkai Genkai that is possessed by every member of the Hyuga clan. Hanabi considers her Byakugan's perception to be as sharp as a fully grown adult's Hyuga. When she activates her Byakugan she can get a 360° view of her surroundings, x-ray vision and the ability to accurately chakra flow inside a human.

This also allows the user to compensate for the blindspot of the Byakugan. The user can repel attackers from several feet away. It is quite effective in blowing the user away and acts as an absolute defence. The greater the force of attack, the greater the force with which it's attacked. The only way to counter this attack is to prevent a Hyuga from spinning.

Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm

This is aimed precisely at the vital points of the enemies, which blows them away with a tremendous amount of force. It tends to target a specific target rather than a general area. It is compressed using a gentle fist and is then used to attack the opponents vital spots from a distance. It is quite similar to Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven.

Byakugan

The user gets a 360 view of their surroundings and can also see the chakra flow of the individual’s body. The Byakugan can penetrate any object and allow its users to see through walls, underground, and even examine a person's body. Some barriers can even block the Byakugan like a smokescreen.

They can focus their vision on anything within their range and can monitor individuals from afar. They can see the chakra to a greater level than the Sharingan which helps them to distinguish people from their clones. It can accurately see people's chakra pathways which can show them the person's vital parts.

Hanabi Hyuga has not only made an appearance in the series only but also in video games.

A. Hanabi is known to be a prodigy and hasn’t disappointed anyone. Being a part of the Hyuga her biggest asset is the Byakugan. She worked very hard to improve her skills and techniques which eventually helped her rise to the Jonin level(in Boruto).
