NASCAR driver Daniel Suarez was born in Mexico in 1992. With his 2016 Xfinity Championship win, he became the first and only Mexican driver to win a major NASCAR National Series Championship.
Suarez started his racing journey at the age of just 10 with karting. His major league NASCAR journey started in 2015 when he joined Joe Gibbs Racing. He subsequently went on to give one of the best rookie performances with the team which prompted his move to the Cup Series in 2017 as a full-time driver for Joe Gibbs Racing.
