There was a time when Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was merely a development driver with Roush Fenway Racing who competed in the ARCA racing series. However, he landed a part-time ride in the 2009 NASCAR Xfinity Series season and that catapulted him to bagging a full-time opportunity in the series. Partnering with crew chief Mike Kelley, there was no looking back for him after that.

Stenhouse Jr. went ahead to win back-to-back Xfinity Series championships in 2011 and 2012. In total, he flaunts eight wins, 40 top-fives, 63 top-10s, and eight poles. Stenhouse is one of the only eight drivers who have won in NASCAR's top-tier racing series as well as the USAC Silver Crown, National Sprint Car, and National Midget Series. This unique achievement etched his name alongside NASCAR veterans like Tony Stewart, Mario Andretti, and Jeff Gordon.

Stenhouse’s first Cup win came at Talladega in 2017. His most recent triumph came last year at the 65th edition of the famed Daytona 500. The Memphis native is currently in his fourth year with JTG Daugherty Racing, driving the number 47 Chevrolet Camaro.

Who are Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Parents?

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is the son of Ricky Stenhouse Sr. and Lisa Stenhouse.

Who is Lisa Stenhouse?

The driver himself answered that question in an interview with NBC Sports. “You could say she’s seen more of my career than I have,” he admitted. “Yes, my mom really is my biggest fan.”

Who is Ricky Stenhouse Sr.?

His dad Ricky Stenhouse Sr. is a former Sprint car driver. Although Lisa Stenhouse is perhaps the biggest believer in her son's abilities, her husband, Ricky Stenhouse Sr. is the one who celebrates his son's victories in the most unique ways.

Moments after Stenhouse Jr.'s victory at Talladega, Senior attempted to climb across the fence and sprint to the victory lane. Amusingly, he almost got arrested for that.
