Bipin Singh is an Indian professional footballer who was born on 10 March 1995 in Manipur, India and plays as an attacking midfielder for Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League.
He is known for his blistering pace and his energy bursts in attacks, and has helped ATK to frequently convert attacks into goals.
The young footballer, at 22 years old, is a bright prospect for the rise of football in India and will play an important role in ATK’s campaign this season.
Background
Bipin Singh started playing football for famous youth club Wafa Wangoi Club in Manipur in 2008 and continued there for three years, honing his skills to become a better midfielder.
He started out as a striker and slowly settled into an attacking midfield position. Bipin has showed a lot of promise in recent years and can be the future of a bright Indian squad.
The ISL has seen a lot of promising Indian talent, Bipin being one of them. The Indian selection committee will gladly take Bipin on their radar.

Debut
Bipin Singh made his professional football debut for Shillong Lajong in the I-League on 22 December 2012 against ONGC FC as a substitute for Johnny Menyongar in the 81st minute.
The match was played at the Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi where Shillong Lajong lost 3-0.
Rise to Glory
After short spells at youth clubs Wafa Wangoi and Manipur Polic Sports Club, Bipin was signed by Shillong Lajong as a youth product in 2012.
He made his entry into the senior side at the end of 2012 and would go on play 38 games for the northeast side.
Coming from a place where a lot of other footballers like Baichung Bhutia and Renedy Singh grew up,
Bipin shows a lot of promise for an attacking midfielder, a position which has a void in the Indian national squad.
In the 38 appearances that he made, he mostly came on as a substitute to replace tired legs or for a change of tactics.
He managed to score just one goal in those games, but showed that Indian footballers do have a bright future.
Bipin Singh was drafted by ATK in the 2017-18 ISL season where he would make his ISL debut for them.
So far, Bipin has made 10 appearances and played a total of 521 minutes, showing flashes of brilliance and an impressive work rate.
He is good at crossing the ball, and provided his only assist of the season in a 1-0 win against Delhi Dynamos.
He scored his only goal in a 4-1 loss to FC Pune City. He completed three games, and played the rest as a substitute or was subbed off in the fag end of the game.
