Jackson Holliday is an American professional baseball shortstop who currently plays for the Baltimore Orioles organization in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was selected by the Orioles as the first overall pick in the 2022 MLB draft.


Holliday made his professional debut on August 11, 2022, playing for the Rookie-level Florida Complex League Orioles. Due to his strong performances he was subsequently promoted to the Delmarva Shorebirds of the Single-A Carolina League. In 2023, Holliday experienced three more promotions. He first moved up to the High-A Aberdeen IronBirds on April 24 and then advanced to the Double-A Bowie Baysox on July 9. Finally, on September 4, he achieved his last promotion for the season, joining the Triple-A Norfolk Tides in the process.


In recognition of his outstanding performance in the minor leagues, Holliday was named the Baseball America Minor League Player of the Year in 2023.
