Born and raised in the New York suburbs, Amanda Rose Saccomanno, known by her wrestling alias Mandy Rose, comes from a family of Irish and Italian descent. The youngest of four, she tragically lost her brother, Richard, in 2022. Before stepping into the squared circle, Rose honed her athleticism through dance in high school and later earned a degree in speech pathology. Her path ultimately led to fitness competitions, where she achieved success, winning the World Bodybuilding Fitness & Fashion Boston Show and the 2014 World Beauty Fitness & Fashion Bikini Champion titles.

WWE (2015-2022)
Mandy Rose wasn't always a WWE star. In 2015, she took a leap of faith, joining the competition show "WWE Tough Enough". While not winning the top prize, she impressed judge The Miz enough to secure a five-year contract with the company. After months of training, she entered the ring for the first time at an NXT live event in early 2016. Though her first televised singles match didn't result in a win, Rose was determined to prove her worth in the world of professional wrestling.
After proving herself in NXT, Mandy Rose joined forces with Sonya Deville and Paige, forming the intimidating faction "Absolution" in late 2017. They quickly made their mark, attacking established stars like Sasha Banks and Bayley. Rose participated in several historic events during this period, including the first-ever women's Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches.
However, the group disbanded in 2018, and Rose found herself drafted to SmackDown alongside Deville. Despite continuing to compete in tag matches, a rivalry eventually sparked between them. Rose even went as far as flirting with Deville's close friend, Jimmy Uso, to fuel the animosity. This feud played out across several matches and culminated in both women eliminating each other from the Royal Rumble in 2019.
After their Elimination Chamber disappointment in February 2019, Rose and Deville continued their pursuit of gold, now under the team name "Fire & Desire". They challenged for the Women's Tag Team Championship but fell short at Clash of Champions. A surprising turn of events unfolded in December when Rose became involved in a romantic storyline with Otis. However, things took a twist when Dolph Ziggler stepped in and stole the spotlight, sparking a love triangle that captivated fans. Deville, it turned out, was secretly aiding Ziggler, further intensifying the drama.
At WrestleMania 36, Rose finally sided with Otis, helping him defeat Ziggler. Their moment was short-lived, as they lost a tag team match against Deville and Ziggler soon after. Tensions continued to rise, culminating in a "Loser Leaves WWE" match at SummerSlam, where Rose emerged victorious, forcing Deville out of the company. Following her win, Rose was drafted to Raw and formed a tag team with Dana Brooke. Although they competed at WrestleMania 37, their journey together ultimately came to an end. This paved the way for Rose's future endeavors beyond the WWE.
Returning to NXT in July 2021, Rose shed her blonde locks and joined forces with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne to form the dominant faction "Toxic Attraction." In a historic moment at Halloween Havoc that October, Rose captured her first-ever championship title – the NXT Women's Championship – while Dolin and Jayne secured the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship, making them the undisputed queens of NXT's women's division.
Rose's reign as champion was no walk in the park. She successfully defended her title against numerous challengers, including Cora Jade, Io Shirai, and Kay Lee Ray in a thrilling four-way match. She even unified the NXT UK Women's Championship with her NXT title, further solidifying her dominance. However, her reign came to an end in December 2022 after 413 days, when she was defeated by Roxanne Perez in a rematch. The following day, Rose's journey with WWE concluded as she was released from her contract.
