Who is the oldest NCT Dream member?
Mark Lee is the eldest NCT Dream member. He was born on August 2, 1999, and is a Canadian rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter based in South Korea. He is the main lead of the NCT Dream boy band and currently is 23 years old. Mark joined SM entertainment as a trainee after passing the SM Global Audition in Vancouver, Canada. Besides this K-Pop career, Mark is also known for appearing in Television shows such as High School Rapper, Snowball Project, and Show! Music Core and It's Dangerous Beyond The Blankets.
During a show in 2021, Mark shared that he didn't originally intend to try out to be a part of SM entertainment. However, he revealed that a series of strange circumstances eventually led to him auditioning. He said, “Whenever I talk about my audition story, I always say that it was pretty destined." He also spoke about his childhood days by saying, “I was always a good, hardworking student, and my parents were very supportive of me getting good grades. Like, they always dreamed of me as the son who’d eventually go to a good college and stuff like that.”
