The World Tree Event occurs every three hours at the 00:30 mark in Build an Island. For instance, it can begin at 12:30 PM local time, following which the next one will be scheduled for 3:30 PM. Players of any skill level can participate in the event and chop down the World Tree for rewards.

Five minutes before the beginning of the event, at the 00:25 mark, a countdown will appear on the right side of the screen. You'll recognize it immediately because it will be indicated by a tree symbol. Once the countdown ends, a server-wide message will be displayed: "The World Tree has spawned in the ocean."

The World Tree always appears in the middle of the ocean in Roblox Build an Island. You can swim or use a raft to get to the location. If you are unable to spot the tree from the ground, reach the top of the volcano on your island and survey your surroundings. The World Tree emits an easily identifiable blue glow.

Players in a particular server get five minutes to chop down the 1500-HP World Tree and get rewards. It is not exactly a boss event; the tree offers no resistance. A single player can fell the tree within the time limit, but a more time-efficient approach would be to call on others for assistance.
