Glide Tower is a fun new experience if you like obbys that challenge your skills, realistic flying physics, and the thrill of gliding across vast landscapes. This game combines high-altitude exploration and visuals with expert maneuvering and complex obby mechanics to deliver an exhilarating game. This beginner's guide will help you navigate the essentials and gain an early edge.
A beginner's guide to Glide Tower
Getting started

Glide Tower begins with a simple premise: climb higher, glide farther, and master your surroundings. New players spawn near the base of an immense, towering mountain filled with platforms, jump points, and blocks that deal damage when touched. The early stages serve as a natural tutorial.
It’s recommended to start slow and observe your surroundings. Most of the game’s learning curve comes from experience, that is, experimenting with movement, getting a feel for jump mechanics, timing your glides for maximum distance, and carefully avoiding the damage-dealing blocks.
Primary gameplay

The primary gameplay revolves around safely navigating through the obstacle course, gliding from point to point, and elegantly ascending the mountain without falling off. Every section of the tower is uniquely designed, with platform puzzles, moving and stationary obstacles, and safe zones that act as progress markers but not checkpoints.
If you fall, you’ll end up going down to the bottom as the ground has a slope, and the only way to cancel your fall and save some progress is to land on a platform and continue from there.
Maintaining Health

Glide Tower includes a traditional health bar in the top-right corner, and keeping track of it and maintaining it is essential. Positioning and stability while completing obstacle courses are equally as important as taking repeated damage from the damage-dealing tiles can result in you taking lethal damage and eventually getting knocked out, and having to restart the entire course again.
The key to maintaining your health bar efficiently in this game is to move wisely. Don’t rush jumps, always identify your landing zones before leaping, and learn exceptional obby skills. Some areas include progress-marking platforms that give you a moment to plan your next move, and you use them to regain control and think ahead.
Gliding

Gliding is a mechanic that sets Glide Tower apart from standard tower-climbing games on Roblox. While the main way to glide is by gaining altitude and pressing the jump key right before leaping to go into glide mode, players are given three additional manual glides, which they can use on command to complete a tricky part in the obby.
Keep in mind, only three glides are given for free, and the rest are to be purchased at R$25 Robux each. If you are struggling to get through a stage in the lobby, you can use the glide option and even pay for one if it comes down to it. However, if you're playing for fun, then it is not recommended to spend R$25 Robux for a single glide as it adds to the challenge.
Unlocking Checkpoints

Joining the official Glide Tower Roblox group comes with several perks that can significantly improve your experience. One of the main perks for group members is Checkpoints. The progress markers that were previously useless and your progress was never saved will now save them properly, thanks to the Checkpoints.
Members will also receive a 'Member' title, which is a cosmetic item that is otherwise inaccessible to non-members. Being part of the group also allows you to participate in community discussions, contribute feedback, report any bugs you may encounter, and most importantly, stay in the loop about upcoming features.
