The quest for unlocking the Demon Race is given by Dravhiel, who can be found in the Land of Detention. However, before getting the quest, you must equip the Human Race. It is a necessary condition for transforming into a demon.

Locating NPC Dravhiel can be a bit tricky because he is hiding behind a building. To make the search easier, here is a quick guide:

  • Enter the Land of Detention.
  • Move past the dungeon raid area and travel to the back of the island.
  • Find the Prison Buccaneer mobs. They are level 4850, deal high damage, so travel in the air via flash steps or a Devil Fruit ability.
  • Search the back of the buildings that are near the Prison Buccaneers. Dravhiel can be easily spotted from above.

Upon talking to Dravhiel, he will ask you to defeat 10 Imprisoned Angels. These enemies can be found on the first two floors of the Third Sea raids. Compared to getting the Dawnbreaker Sword in King Legacy, this quest is far simpler.

Once the quest is completed, speak to Dravhiel again. He will then present the option of buying the Demon Race for 5,000,000 Beli and 100 Angellic's Feather. While Beli can be obtained by completing quests, you can get Angellic's Feathers by defeating mobs at the Sky Island.

The Demon Race is a decent choice for both PvP and PvE aspects. It gives you a high health regeneration, which is boosted during the night, and a faster gliding speed. Both perks are not only suitable for offense but also help you make strategic retreats before re-engaging an enemy.

The Demon V2 upgrade substantially increases the health regeneration and gliding speed perks provided by its first version. The method for unlocking it is the same as that of the V1.

After obtaining the Demon Race, you can speak to Dravhiel to get the V2 advancement. He will task you with defeating 10 Imprisoned Angels. After the completion of the quest, you can buy Demon Race V2 with 7,500,000 Beli and 150 Angellic's Feather.

The recently introduced Race also has a V3 upgrade. Instead of Dravhiel, you have to obtain it from NPC Lilithar, found on a special island.
