The Survivors season 1 is a six-episode limited series released on Netflix on June 6, 2025. Set in the hauntingly beautiful town of Evelyn Bay, the show explores themes of trauma, guilt, and long-held secrets, drawing viewers into the lives of characters who are forced to confront the past.

The Survivors season 1 is all about Kieran Elliott and his family's trip back to Evelyn Bay, where he grew up. This brings up old wounds. After two people drowned and a young girl went missing years ago, Kieran lives a life with guilt. As soon as the body of a young woman is found, the town's dark past comes to light, making everyone face their secrets.

Charlie Vickers plays Kieran Elliott in The Survivors season 1. He is a man haunted by guilt after a tragic event in his hometown years ago.

Charlie Vickers was born in St. Kilda, Melbourne, on October 24, 1992. He grew up in Geelong and went to RMIT University to study art. After that, he moved to London to go to the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Vickers started out in amateur theater, where he was in shows like Sweeney Todd and Fawlty Towers. He became famous for playing the youngest son in the Netflix show Medici.

Vickers is best known for his role as Sauron in Amazon's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022), where he played Halbrand, Sauron's human form. He learned how to freedive and go hiking in New Zealand to get ready for the part. Vickers is an actor, but she also loves to run. He played the lead role in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart in 2023.

Yerin Ha stars as Mia Chang in The Survivors season 1. Chang is a strong and empathetic character who plays a pivotal role in the investigation surrounding the mysterious events in Evelyn Bay.

Yerin Ha is an Australian actress known for playing a wide range of roles on TV and in movies. She became well-known for her roles as Kwan Ha in the Paramount+ show Halo (2022–2024) and as Ah Rah in the ABC show Troppo. Ha also played the lead role in the Stan miniseries Bad Behaviour (2023) and her first full-length movie, Sissy.

Ha graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney. She started her career with stage roles, such as one in Lord of the Flies (2019) by the Sydney Theatre Company. Ha was cast as Sophie Baek in the fourth season of Bridgerton in 2024. She also made an appearance in Dune: Prophecy (2024), a show that comes before the Dune series.

3) Robyn Malcolm as Verity Elliott

Robyn Malcolm plays Verity Elliott, the matriarch of the Elliott family, in The Survivors season 1. Verity is a strong and supportive mother who must face her own troubled past while supporting her son, Kieran, as he fights with guilt and the resurgence of old memories.

Robyn Malcolm is a famous actress from New Zealand. She is best known for playing Cheryl West, the mother of the West family, in the hit TV show Outrageous Fortune. Malcolm was born in 1965 in Ashburton, New Zealand. In 1987, he got his diploma in acting from Toi Whakaari (New Zealand Drama School).

She became famous early on for her role as nurse Ellen Crozier on the soap opera Shortland Street. Malcolm has also worked on TV and helped start the New Zealand Actors' Company in 1999, which put on successful plays for the stage.

She has also been in movies like The Hopes and Dreams of Gazza Snell (2010) and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. She played the lead role in the New Zealand drama After the Party in 2023.

4) Damien Garvey as Brian Elliott

Damien Garvey plays Brian Elliott, Kieran’s father, in The Survivors season 1. Brian is a man who has lived through personal tragedy and must confront his own demons as the dark secrets of Evelyn Bay surface.

Damien Garvey is an Australian actor and musician who has worked in movies and on TV for more than two decades. He started out as an actor by playing small parts in dramas like Medivac (1998), Young Lions (2002), and Cybergirl (2001).

A recurring role on McLeod's Daughters from 2001 to 2007 brought Garvey a lot of attention. In 2007, he was in the first season of Sea Patrol.

Garvey was also in Terra Nova (2011) and later starred in Rake and the Jack Irish TV films. Beginning in 2018, he played Detective Senior Sergeant Bryan Nichols on Harrow for three seasons. He has also been in Nine Perfect Strangers (2021) and Nautilus (2022), and most recently, he was in The Artful Dodger (2023).

George Mason plays Ash Carter, a loyal friend of Kieran Elliott, in The Survivors season 1. Ash helps Kieran navigate the turmoil that comes with the resurfacing of long-buried secrets.

George Mason is an actor from New Zealand who is known for playing a wide range of roles in movies and on TV. He got his start as an actor in the movie 50 Ways of Saying Fabulous when he was thirteen years old. Mason's early career includes notable roles in Shortland Street, Tangiwai: A Love Story, Top of the Lake, and Go Girls.

Mason was born in New Zealand's Invercargill and went to the Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School in Wellington. From 2014 to 2018, he played Martin Ashford on the Australian soap opera Home and Away. Mason has also been in the 2019 musical film Daffodils and the 2020 romantic drama Dirt Music, in addition to his TV roles.

In 2010, she got her degree in Performance Studies from Curtin University. De Gouw started out as an actress by playing small parts on Australian TV shows like The Sleepover Club and Crownies. In 2012, she played Isabella in Kath & Kimderella, her first full-length movie.

Later that year, she moved to Los Angeles and got the part of Helena Bertinelli/The Huntress on Arrow. Not only that, but she played Mina Murray on NBC's Dracula and Elizabeth Hawkes on WGN's Underground.
