James was illogically fired in 2010

For someone who was one of the most over female wrestlers in the company, with the likes of Trish Stratus and Lita, Mickie James’ release was a complete shocker.

Why was she released when she was such a great worker and immensely popular? Well, backstage rumors are such that she and John Cena had an affair and then Cena decided to tie the knot with his girlfriend since highschool. This did not sit well with James. Soon enough, she was shifted to Smackdown and had to deal with idiotic storylines where she was called Piggy James.

And then suddenly, out of the blue, she was released. She says the company reasoned this decision as a new move for the divas division. That is something majorly flawed since there’s isn’t enough logic to think that James won’t have fit in given her good work over the years.
