One of WWE's 'Big Four' PPVs will be taking place this Sunday. Survivor Series comes to the WWE Network on November 24th, 2019, from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

The show will feature all three brands going up against one another, as this year's event marks the first time NXT has joined the fight between RAW and SmackDown. Apart from the traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series matches and Champion vs Champion matches, this year's PPV will see Bray Wyatt defend his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan while Brock Lesnar faces off against Rey Mysterio for the WWE Championship.

Let us take a look at five exciting possibilities that make Survivor Series 2019 a must-watch show.

#5 Triple H has an 'epic surprise' in store

'The Game' was on a media call recently and upon being asked if he would be the final member for the Men's NXT Team, Triple H assured everyone that not only are the rumors of him competing at Survivor Series false, but he is completely against the idea of joining Team NXT, as he believes the brand is for the youth and the future.

On a positive note, however, 'The King of Kings' stated that there is an 'epic surprise' waiting for fans at Survivor Series. He also mentioned that the final member of the NXT Team will be announced at Survivor Series itself. Connecting the dots, it's easy to figure out that this epic surprise will likely be related to NXT's final member.

Triple H has tried to recruit former NXT Superstars such as Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Drew McIntyre over the past few weeks, but was unsuccessful in his attempts. Maybe 'The Game' has managed to convince some other NXT alumnus to join his Black and Yellow team.

#4 Massive return

Survivor Series is one of WWE's 'Big Four' pay-per-views and it is almost certain that the company will have one or two big tricks up its sleeve for the show. While the card for Survivor Series seems stacked, there are many Superstars who are currently out of action due to injury or otherwise, and Survivor Series would be the perfect place for a major return.

Who could be returning at Survivor Series, you ask?

Matt Hardy has been active on his social media hinting at returning to WWE soon. The former ECW Champion has also stated time and again in interviews that he would like to revive the 'Broken' Matt Hardy gimmick and work with Bray Wyatt in any fashion - as a teammate or opponent. Given their history together, what if 'Broken' Matt Hardy returns to WWE and helps The Fiend pick up the win against Daniel Bryan?

Another Superstar who may return at the show is NXT's favorite son Johnny Gargano, who has been out of action with a neck injury. While the former NXT Champion may not take part in any match, he can lend ringside support to his team at Survivor Series.

#3 The champions continue their path of dominance

'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar are both dominant champions and are seemingly indestructible. As per recent reports, their reigns are not in any threat at Survivor Series, as the two champions are expected to come out victorious at the PPV.

It has been reported that WWE is trying to protect The Fiend and the company is building him up as Roman Reigns' antithesis. 'The Big Dog' is rumored to be taking on Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36:

According to Wrestling News Co’s Paul Davis, there are big plans for “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36, which will take place in Tampa, Florida on April 5, 2020, and Roman Reigns is one of the Superstars who is being considered as a possible opponent for him at the event.

Also, while Rey Mysterio's feud with Brock Lesnar has become one of the best stories in WWE today, unfortunately, 'The Master of the 619' will not be able to take revenge for his friend Cain Velasquez and son Dominick at Survivor Series, as 'The Beast Incarnate' will likely win their match this Sunday.

#2 Surprising betrayal

Survivor Series is a PPV that is historically known for major betrayals. The event is focused around teamwork between Superstars who likely harbor animosity against one other, but have to work together for the supremacy of their brand.

This year, multiple former NXT Superstars who have often been vocal regarding their loyalty to Triple H are being pitted against the current crop of NXT talent, so it is imaginable that at least one person will betray his or her team at the show.

So, who are the most likely candidates to betray their team at Survivor Series?

The most obvious answer would be King Corbin who is currently embroiled in a feud with Roman Reigns and will likely defy every order 'The Big Dog' has as captain of Team SmackDown.

It is also possible that former NXT Champion Kevin Owens might betray the Red Brand and re-join NXT, especially given his segment with Triple H on RAW this week which showed Triple H being quite convincing before Owens was attacked by The Undisputed Era.

#1 Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar clash

There have been rumors circulating that WWE might be planning a possible match between Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania. Survivor Series would be the perfect place to sow the seeds for this rivalry.

Considering Wyatt is on SmackDown and Lesnar on RAW, it is possible that we may get to see a confrontation of sorts between the two World Champions this Sunday.

Here is what Dave Meltzer had stated in regards to Brock Lesnar's Wrestlemania opponent:

"I’m still thinking it might be Bray Wyatt. Although they are on different brands, so maybe that’s out of the question, but maybe it’s not, and even if it is out of the question today, it may not be out of the question in a month. If ratings go down, you know, what decision would they make at that point?

Dave Meltzer on The Fiend's WrestleMania opponent:

"Plus, right now, Wyatt should be kept apart completely from Lesnar for a long time. With the push they are giving Wyatt, they need to protect him for the super guy, and that’s Lesnar, not Reigns, although those would be the two key programs."
