Baron Corbin, according to the buzz on the internet, seems to be the likeliest candidate to win the Money in the Bank ladder match, as of right now. We’ve seen him lose twice in a row to Sami Zawn, a good indicator of the fact that he is due a win. Let’s assume he does emerge victorious, we predict a John Cena vs. Jinder Mahal match at Summerslam 2017.
Cena emerges victorious in an explosive contest and shows up on an episode of the blue brand to celebrate his 17th title win. At which point, he is jumped by Jinder and the Singh brothers and left in a crumpled heap. Corbin can show up and cash in his briefcase, to become the new WWE Champion.
This would also help SmackDown ratings bounce back strongly, considering they are plummeting to new depth right now.
