Money in the Bank: 5 Surprising Interferences we can witness in the ladder matches

Will we see some major interferences at MITB?
Will we see some major interferences at MITB?

We are just one day away from the annual Money in the Bank PPV, as it'll go down live tomorrow from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. The card for the PPV looks excellent and if done properly, it would be a show worth remembering for the fans.

The highlights of the PPV other than the Championship matches are of course the two Money in the Bank ladder matches for the men and the women.

There are so many inner-feuds going on among the competitors of the ladder match, and with WWE looking to up the ratings, we might see some major interferences in both the matches that could have an impact on the winner of the match.

In this article, let's take a look at the 5 Surprising interferences that we can witness tomorrow in the MITB ladder matches. Who are you rooting for to become this year's Mr. and Miss Money in the Bank?

#5 Braun Strowman

The Monster Among Men won't be in a good mood for sure!
The Monster Among Men won't be in a good mood for sure!

Braun Strowman didn't really have a good outing on RAW last week, as he lost his spot in the men's Money in the Bank ladder match to Sami Zayn. All this took place after Shane booked a match between Braun and Sami with the MITB ladder match spot on the line in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

While Braun was looking dangerous, two other participants in the MITB ladder match this Sunday, Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre attacked him in the closing moments of the match to help Sami get the win and the spot. This was a great move from the two top heels of RAW to take out the big Monster from the match and increase their odds of winning the briefcase this Sunday.

But one thing is for sure, Braun definitely won't be in a good mood come Sunday at Money in the Back. Knowing his nature, he's not someone who'll quietly watch the match from the back and see one of these two take his share of glory.

I am pretty sure there is hell to pay for the Scottish Psychopath and the Lone Wolf as Braun would be dying to get his hands on them. I can see Strowman interfering in the ladder match to take out either of these two, leading to a feud after the PPV.

#4 Sonya Deville

How long will her alliance with Mandy last?
How long will her alliance with Mandy last?

In what was a huge moment of sacrifice, Sonya Deville gave up an opportunity to get included in the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match and gave her spot to her tag team partner, Mandy Rose.

There is a huge chance that Sonya might interfere in the match to help Mandy win the briefcase, as she is one of the favorites to win the match this year. But WWE could also swerve us all if Sonya interferes but instead of helping her, she turns on Mandy and costs her a MITB win. This could lead to a feud between the two former members of the Absolution which has been teased for quite some time now.

#3 Kevin Owens

Will Owens help his best friend Sami win MITB?
Will Owens help his best friend Sami win MITB?

Last week on SmackDown, we saw Sami Zayn appear on the show to help his best friend Kevin Owens fight against his opponent this Sunday, the WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston.

With Sami replacing Braun in the men's MITB match, fans are wondering whether WWE can pull off a shocker and make Sami Mr. MITB this year. An interesting way to do this would be if KO interferes in the MITB match to help him win the contract with the promise that Sami will help him win the WWE Championship.

All this could turn into an amazing storyline later on with KO as the WWE Champion and Sami as the MITB Champion on RAW. Their alliance would be based on the promise that Sami will cash-in only on the Universal Champion, but this is where Sami could betray KO and cash-in on him sometime later to shock everyone and become the WWE Champion.

#2 Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks returning would be a huge moment!
Sasha Banks returning would be a huge moment!

The biggest news coming out of WrestleMania 35 this year was Sasha Banks reportedly asking for her release from the company. More than a month after the Show of Shows, Sasha is yet to appear on WWE programming.

But the recent reports and her mocking the "INTERNET" in her tweets suggests that the situation might not be that bad and we might see her return to WWE soon.

If she indeed plans to come back, this is a great opportunity for WWE to bank on this opportunity and use it to get some much-needed attention by letting Sasha interfere in the Women's MITB match.

While there have been theories of her taking out Dana Brooke and replacing her in the match, I have one new theory of my own, that I believe would make for an amazing storyline throughout the summer.

Remember how CM Punk held hostage of the WWE Title and left with it only to return after some time, much to the shock of everyone. What if Sasha appears at MITB, lays everyone out and takes the MITB contract with her through the crowd yelling "I'll do it my way!"

This could lead to an amazing storyline between her and the authority, maybe Vince McMahon himself throughout the summer. Now that would be a great way to get back the ratings!

#1 Triple H

This interference could shake things up!
This interference could shake things up!

Now, this might come as the biggest surprise on the list. Triple H was last seen on TV at WrestleMania 35 where he defeated The Animal, Batista in a No Holds Barred match. With the TV ratings falling continuously, we are witnessing Vince and Shane McMahon appear on TV as the authority figures.

Surprisingly, Triple H is yet to comment on this issue. Keep in mind, he was the one who announced last year that the fans would be the main boss and they would decide what they want to see. Recently, he has liked some very controversial tweets that have blamed Vince McMahon for the falling ratings and suggest Triple H taking over soon.

Imagine this situation - Triple H interferes when Randy Orton is about to win the briefcase in the closing moments of the match and helps one of his NXT graduates win the briefcase. He can then take the mic and say "Randy, I respect you, but you are the past just like Vince. I'm here to TakeOver WWE and there's no one who can stop me!"

This would add some storyline to his announced match next month against Orton at WWE Super ShowDown, and would start a power-struggle feud between Hunter and Vince, something which will surely make for good TV and make fans tune in thus resulting in increased ratings.

With WWE looking desperate to solve the rating issue, this might surely be one guaranteed way of doing that. With the debut of a new rival just a few days after MITB, WWE needs some huge storyline to keep fans interested in the product.
