Drew McIntyre's former wife is a one-time IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion

Drew McIntyre could be on his way out of WWE if the two parties are unable to come to a new agreement in the next year. Fans haven't seen the Scottish Warrior since WrestleMania 39, as he's been resting up at home and nursing some nagging injuries. Hopefully, the former WWE Champion is getting some much-needed family time in with his wife Kaitlyn Frohnapfel.

Speaking of, were you aware that McIntyre was previously married to a former WWE Superstar? Not only that, but she's also a former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion that has ties to SmackDown Superstar "Michin" Mia Yim.

Taryn Dryden, known as Taryn Terrell throughout most of her career, as well as Tiffany in WWE, is a retired professional wrestler who hung her boots up in 2022 after a short run with NWA.

Wrestling fans remember her best for her time in TNA/IMPACT as part of the Dollhouse. At the time, Terrell joined up with the recently-debuted Mia Yim (then named Jade) and Marti Belle, leading the villainous group to some moderate success.

Terrell would go on to hold the Knockouts Championship for 279 days, defeating the likes of Havok, Gail Kim, and Awesome Kong during her reign.

Drew McIntyre has yet to re-sign with WWE

Drew McIntyre has been absent from WWE TV for over a month now, last seen in a losing effort against Gunther in a triple threat for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 39. The 37-year-old is reportedly unhappy with his current WWE deal but is still under contract until 2024.

Fans were quite shocked by the omission of Drew McIntyre's name from the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament announcement. Considering the star power he brings, as well as his resume, one would consider him a guaranteed face in the tournament.

Is he still trying to rest up? Have contract negotiations fallen so far that he was left out intentionally? Or does WWE Have something better in store for him?

A rumor sprang up recently that he could be back as soon as tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW. If that's the case, will he interfere in the tournament?

What do you think is next for Drew McIntyre in WWE? Will he ruin the tournament for one of the competitors tonight, or will we even see him on RAW? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
