I genuinely thought that the whole 'eye for an eye' stipulation between Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins added a whole feeling of uneasiness to Extreme Rules that may not be generally felt in the super safe environment of WWE anymore. If you actually consider the Seth Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio match for what it was, an extraordinary match between two of the best athletes in the business, who tore it up at Extreme Rules in the wrestling department, we had a winner.

But what took me out of the whole thing honestly was the fact that the match ended with a fake eyeball at Extreme Rules 2020, which bordered on the realm of the ridiculous, and the problem could have been easily remedied had it been a regular match. Do you really need a stipulation for a match between Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules when a mere wrestling match would have sufficed for most fans?
