WWE FastLane will hold this Sunday on March 10, 2019, at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. As of now, a total of 7 matches are booked for the main show, and 2 on the pre-show for the Pay Per View.

With this being the last major stop on The Road to WrestleMania, WWE would be planning to make FastLane as controversial as possible to make fans tune in to RAW next night and create hype for the WrestleMania season.

With a total of 5 titles being defended on the PPV, a shocking title change could help serve this purpose. Or else WWE can have a returning superstar interrupt a match to set-up a clash at the Showcase of Immortals.

While there have been a lot of speculations and match predictions for FastLane 2019, WWE can still come up with a lot of "shockers" and surprise moments which will make the fans jump out of their seat in excitement.

In this article, let's take a look at the 5 Shockers that could happen at FastLane. These would surely make the Road to WrestleMania way interesting than what it is currently, and would help the rating issues as well.

#5 Samoa Joe calls out John Cena for a match at WrestleMania

Will we see a clash between Joe and Cena?
Will we see a clash between Joe and Cena?

Ever since Samoa Joe won the United States Championship on SmackDown, the rumors are floating that he would be working a feud with John Cena for the US Championship at WrestleMania 35.

Currently, Joe is not advertised for FastLane this Sunday, but WWE could pull a swerve by starting the build-up to this feud now itself. If Joe's interview backstage after winning the title on SmackDown is considered, WWE surely looks to be heading towards a clash between these two superstars.

Joe can come out and issue an open challenge for the Title, and squash his opponent. A post-match promo where Joe calls out Cena challenging him for a match at WrestleMania would just sky-rocket the US Title scene.

#4 Charlotte beats Becky Lynch, with outside help from Ronda Rousey

Will Becky's Road to WrestleMania have more bumps?
Will Becky's Road to WrestleMania have more bumps?

One of the most recently booked, yet hyped-up match for FastLane is that between The Man, Becky Lynch and The Queen, Charlotte. The stipulation is that if Becky wins, she will be inserted into the RAW Women's Championship match at WrestleMania.

A lot of speculations have been made for the match, from Ronda interfering to cause a no contest, to Becky finally defeating Charlotte clean. But looking at the current storyline, WWE is in no mood to stabilize this feud.

Imagine Ronda coming out during the match to aid Charlotte to get an unfair victory against Becky Lynch and then attacking her as well after the match to let people know how bad she can be. A vicious assault on a helpless Becky only to be separated by security would make it an interesting segment.

#3 Mandy Rose wins the SmackDown Women's Championship

Will the Golden Goddess pull out an upset?
Will the Golden Goddess pull out an upset?

As mentioned in the opening slide, a total of 5 title matches are booked for FastLane. Out of them, there is a good chance that none of the titles change hands.

From SmackDown, Mandy Rose is challenging Asuka for the Women's Championship of the brand. While a lot of fans are looking at this as a random feud to keep Asuka busy till her WrestleMania feud starts, WWE could shock everyone by putting the title on Mandy Rose.

The win would definitely not be a clean one, but a certain interference from Sonya Deville would work. If this does happen, it would be a huge upset and while some fans might not like this decision, it would certainly give some limelight to the SmackDown Women's Title scene heading to WrestleMania, something it is lacking currently.

#2 Roman tries to convince Dean to stay in WWE

Will The Big Dog confront his Shield-brother?
Will The Big Dog confront his Shield-brother?

This past Monday, Roman Reigns mentioned the situation around Dean Ambrose leaving WWE on RAW. This was the first time WWE mentioned this on their TV shows, leading to a lot of fans speculating that Dean leaving is a work.

If it really is, then WWE can go ahead and make this into a proper storyline. We all saw how desperately Roman wanted to get The Shield back together. Well, he sure was successful this time, but how long is the question.

A great way of taking this story forward would be to let The Shield beat McIntyre, Corbin, and Lashley at FastLane. After the match, while The Shield is celebrating, Roman can take the mic and ask Dean about the news and why is he leaving WWE.

Dean's look of celebration will suddenly change, and after looking at Roman for some time, he'll leave the ring alone without saying anything.

Now that would definitely make the fans tune in to RAW to watch the fallout of this segment.

#1 Batista attacks Triple H backstage

Batista attacking Triple H backstage would be a great way to build up the feud!
Batista attacking Triple H backstage would be a great way to build up the feud!

The ongoing feud between Triple H and Batista has been very entertaining until now. This past Monday night on RAW, Triple H gave an amazing and a very personal promo on RAW, calling out Batista for a confrontation at next week's RAW.

A shocking moment at FastLane would be if Batista attacks Triple H backstage. Fans would not be expecting The Animal to show up at FastLane, and this would surely be one of the biggest moments of the night.

WWE could take this to another level, by letting Batista bust open Triple H in a backstage brawl, and then laughing like a maniac, letting him know this Game would be played according to his rules.

What do you think can be the biggest shocking moment at FastLane? Sound off in the comments section below.
