R-Truth has been the best thing about Raw for the past four weeks!
R-Truth has been the best thing about Raw for the past four weeks!

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw will come to us live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. It will also be the go home show for WWE’s next PPV Stomping Grounds.

AEW's All Out PPV sold out in less than fifteen minutes, while WWE is struggling to fill out even half the arena for Stomping Grounds. The company has only two days left to draw the attention of the fans before this Sunday.

It feels like WWE was hasty in filling out the match card for Sunday's PPV. The fans are already lashing out against the PPV by calling it "Rematch Grounds", as four out of the seven announced matches have already taken place in the past three months.

With that in mind, let's look at the five burning questions before this week's episode of Raw.

#5 Who will be the next challenger for the US title?

Who will challenge Samoa Joe at Stomping Grounds?
Who will challenge Samoa Joe at Stomping Grounds?

There will be a fatal 5-way match on this week’s Raw to determine the No.1 contender for the United States Championship at Stomping Grounds.

Braun Strowman, Cesaro, Ricochet & Bobby Lashley crashed Miz TV on last week's Raw to stake their claim to be the next challenger for the United States Championship.

The superstars competed in a six-man tag team match last week which saw Strowman, Miz & Ricochet coming on top. This week, the potential challengers will clash in a fatal 5-way match to see who will face Samoa Joe for the title this Sunday.

Cesaro got hurt after Ricochet landed on his knee while executing his 630 senton finishing move. Though reports claimed Cesaro's injury was not serious as we thought, we have to wait till Monday to see if he'll be cleared to compete on time for Raw.

The US title picture has started to take shape since Rey Mysterio handed the title back to Samoa Joe after the former's injury. It will be interesting to see who will be the one to challenge Joe for the title this Sunday at Stomping Grounds.

#4 Can R-Truth hold on to the 24/7 Championship?

How will the 24/7 Champion react?
How will the 24/7 Champion react?

R-Truth and the 24/7 Championship is one of the most exciting things happening in the WWE right now. His segments are the highest watched videos on WWE’s YouTube channel for the past three weeks.

Last week while trying to hide from other superstars, Carmella inadvertently locked R-Truth inside a crate. Jinder Mahal tried to take advantage of the opportunity to reclaim the title, but the crew members packed up Truth along with the production equipment and shipped them off to Raw in Los Angeles.

The superstars know where to find R-Truth on this week's Raw. It's evident when R-Truth makes it out of the crate, a small army of Superstars will be waiting for him.

Truth has been inside the crate for six days straight, and we have to wait till Monday to find out if he can escape with the 24/7 Championship still around his waist.

#3 Will Bray Wyatt make his return to Raw this week?

Will you let him in?
Will you let him in?

According to various reports, Bray Wyatt will be backstage on Raw this week and could make an appearance on the show. It will be the first time Wyatt will be present on Raw since debuting his Firefly Fun House segments.

Bray Wyatt hinted that a cryptic eight-line tweet from May 13 might contain the names of the episodes of the Firefly Fun House.

If that is true, last week's segment might be the final episode of the Firefly Fun House, and it could lead to Wyatt's return to Raw.

Rambling Rabbit tried to reveal the real secret behind the Fun House but got squashed by Bray Wyatt before he could utter a word. It increases the expectations of the fans for Wyatt's in-ring return and how his new character will play out.

We have to wait till Monday to find out if Vince McMahon will let Bray Wyatt in.

#2 Why was Daniel Bryan chosen to be a wild card?

Why is Daniel Bryan coming to Raw?
Why is Daniel Bryan coming to Raw?

It's been announced that WWE has chosen Daniel Bryan as one of the wild cards from SmackDown Live to be on this week's Raw. The most important thing to note is that he was chosen by the WWE to be a wild card, and it was not his choice.

Daniel Bryan is one half of the SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions with Rowan. He's been staying low key since he lost the WWE Championship to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania.

The reason behind that is said to be WWE trying to keep him safe from taking major bumps during his matches. Daniel Bryan had supposely sustained a concussion after his match at WrestleMania, and that could be the reason WWE moved him to the tag team division.

It's still unclear why WWE has chosen Daniel Bryan to be on this week's Raw. But the next question might give us a hint.

#1 Who will Baron Corbin reveal as the special guest referee?

Who is the mystery referee?
Who is the mystery referee?

Seth Rollins defeated Baron Corbin at Super ShowDown to retain the Universal Championship. While Corbin was busy arguing with the referee, Rollins rolled him up for the victory.

Corbin was livid with his loss, and he demanded a rematch against Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at Stomping Grounds. He blamed the referee for his failure at Super ShowDown and demanded a special guest referee of his choosing for the rematch.

WWE announced Corbin would reveal the identity of the special guest referee he has chosen for his match against Seth Rollins this Sunday. With Sami Zayn volunteering himself to be the guest referee and Kevin Owens also in the mix, it will be intriguing to see who Corbin will choose to don the stripes for the Universal title match this Sunday at Stomping Grounds.
