So without further ado, let's dive in and check out the biggest stories and rumors of the day:

#5 WWE locker room unhappy with the increased focus on Bad Bunny and Bow Wow

SportsKeeda's source within WWE has reported that backstage morale concerning rappers like Bad Bunny getting a push on RAW has not been great. The report has stated that rapper Bad Bunny will be at the Performance Center to train for his rumored match against The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37.

It has also been revealed that another rapper, Bow Wow, will also start training at the PC once his prior commitments have been completed. While names such as Bad Bunny and Bow Wow will help rope in more casual fans, the WWE Superstars are upset that more time is being allotted to rappers at the expense of wrestlers on the roster.

"I'm hearing that Bad Bunny is already at or going to be soon at the PC in Orlando, with Bow Wow expected soon. Bow Wow is wrapping up an album. While this is great news for social media, word has it that actual talent are not impressed by the move. Talent is concerned that time and effort will go into the rap stars, which leaves less effort being given to the actual wrestling product.''

The source also claims to have heard Bianca Belair's name floating around the 'whole arc' as well. The 2021 Women's Royal Rumble winner's name has been brought up regarding the potential plans for the aforementioned rappers in WWE.

#4 WWE Superstar Cedric Alexander's push was almost canceled after he didn't listen to Vince McMahon

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently spoke about one half of the RAW Tag Team Champions Cedric Alexander on his podcast. Kurt Angle revealed the reason behind the former Cruiserweight Champion not being initially pushed on the main roster.

Kurt Angle revealed that WWE star Cedric Alexander had turned down Vince McMahon's ideas for him, which led to him being in the 'doghouse' as McMahon wasn't happy with the young star's refusal. Angle believed that Alexander's career might be over and that he is, in fact, lucky to have gotten a second chance at success after joining the Hurt Business.

''You look at what they have been doing with Alexander, the Hurt Business. He got in a little trouble last year. He didn't do something that Vince wanted him to do, and if you don't listen to your boss, things could get a little bit depressing for you, and he didn't listen the one night, and they scolded him for a good half-year before they started using him again, and rightfully so, he should have listened.''

Kurt Angle emphasized how important it is for talent to listen to Vince and his ideas because, at the end of the day, that is what their job is.

#3 WWE Superstar Edge talks about his Backlash match against Randy Orton

Edge returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble last year. The Rated-R Superstar then went on to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania and then again at Backlash. However, when the two men fought in 'the greatest wrestling match ever' at Backlash, Edge got injured once again.

Speaking to Vicente Beltran, Edge talked about his match against Randy Orton which led to him being injured last year. Edge made it clear that it wasn't Randy Orton's fault. The Ultimate Opportunist also said he was eager to 'exchange holds' with The Viper.

“Then we get to Backlash and I am super excited about that. Just to get in and wrestle, that’s all I wanted to do. I just wanted to get back in and exchange wrestling holds and do it with one the best that is ever done it. Didn’t want to get injured, but that’s what happened. Sometimes I push myself a little too hard but that’s the way I am wired, I don’t know.”

Although former WWE Champion Randy Orton emerged victorious at Backlash, Edge recently defeated The Viper on Monday Night RAW.

#2 Reason why Vince McMahon liked released WWE Superstar Lars Sullivan

It came as a surprise to the WWE Universe when the company announced that they had parted ways with Lars Sullivan. The Superstar had been heavily pushed before he disappeared from WWE shows ahead of being released by the company.

The reason for Lars Sullivan being released was his habit of no-showing events due to his anxiety issues. Reports also stated that Vince McMahon was high on the Superstar but had to let him go.

Kurt Angle explained on his podcast why Vince McMahon was such a big fan of Lars Sullivan. Angle said that Vince McMahon was mainly a big fan of Lars Sullivan's incredible physique, even if the former WWE star needed further training.

''Vince loved his look. Loved his strength and explosiveness. I just think that he wasn't as experienced as he could have been to start out. I think he needed a little bit more training, and he was still learning."

Kurt Angle also stated that he put Lars Sullivan over before leaving WWE so that the young Superstar could gain some momentum.

#1 Booker T heaps praise on two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, WWE icon Booker T said that if he were to ever start a new promotion, it would be built around a WWE Superstar like AJ Styles. The Hall of Famer stated that the reason he would pick AJ Styles is because of the wealth of experience that The Phenomenal One has accumulated throughout his career.

The six-time World Champion praised AJ Styles for his longevity and said that The Phenomenal One is a well-seasoned athlete who will add credibility to any new promotion.

''AJ Styles is a guy who's had that in-ring career, but he was there watching it, just say, for instance, back when WCW was at its end. AJ Styles was one of the guys in the locker room back then, he's been a guy that's been on this journey for a long time. He's a guy that's well seasoned and has gone all over the world. And, there again, if I tell you, coming from my generation, you may not believe it as much as it coming from AJ Styles and his generation as well as what he's done in his career. ''

Booker T added that by having people like WWE's AJ Styles around him upon starting a new promotion, he will be able to get a reaffirmation for his ideas and would value those opinions, as they would be coming from someone experienced like AJ Styles.
