#5. WWE to break up Lana and Bobby Lashley, possible future match for Lashley

Bobby Lashley took on Aleister Black on night 2 of WrestleMania 36 and he expectedly lost the match. However, Lashley was on the verge of getting one over Black as he had the Superstar in position for The Dominator before Lana came up on the apron and called for a spear.

It ended up being a mistake on Lashley's part as Black capitalized and delivered the Black Mass kick for the win. The seeds for a split have been planted and it won't be long before the 'married' on-screen couple is done for good.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed the finish of the match and the possible split on the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio.

Bryan Alvarez: They are already breaking them up after spending all of that time to get them married.

Dave Meltzer: Yeah, yeah. Well, they were already having troubles before the marriage. It was already doomed, you know, it wasn't a wise relationship in the storyline from the start.

As reported first by Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue in March, the idea is to break up Lana and Lashley which would free up Bobby for a future dream clash against Brock Lesnar.

WWE does intend on having Lashley vs. Lesnar down the line and they may not need Lana in the angle.

Tom noted:

That match is still very much on the cards, but it needs quite a bit of rebuilding. Lashley has moved on. They were already teasing dissension, where Lashley was getting annoyed with his new wife. That seems like the way they will go with this. We'll see going forwards what ends up happening but the plan at this point is to rebuild Lashley, if Lana is not the right person to do that, then she will not be involved in the storyline.

#4. The Undertaker's future after the Boneyard match, retirement speculation

The Undertaker was in his element at WrestleMania 36.

The Boneyard match will go down in history as one of the best Undertaker matches of all time and it highlighted the greatest versions of the Phenom in all its glory.

The Undertaker buried AJ Styles at the end of the match and it looked obvious that the 55-year-old veteran enjoyed every moment of the entire battle.

However, what's next for him?

The Undertaker did take to Instagram and hinted at a possible retirement.

Dave Meltzer even revealed during a recent Wrestling Observer Radio that there was talk about The Deadman's retirement and that he wanted to go out on a good note.

Well, there is a lot of talk that he wanted to retire on a good note because he's had these bad matches and if that's the case, this would be the way to retire.

However, The Undertaker may still have one final push left in him.

Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue told Korey Gunz on the Dropkick DiSkussions podcast that 'Taker could be ready to complete the final few years of his career with his new character.

The WWE is finally giving him the opportunity to be himself. Yes, it is here to stay. Yes, this is sort if going to be sort of the last run, but it's going to be as the Undertaker. People may refer to it as the American Badass but it really is just the amalgamation of the two, more Deadman than the American Badass was but more American Badass than the actual classic Deadman was. Some combination of the two that may well see him through the next few years which will probably be his last few years.

#3. Vince McMahon's backstage reaction to the Firefly Fun House match

The Boneyard Match was so good that the fans feared that the Firefly Fun House match may not live up to the high standards set by the main event of the day one.

Bray Wyatt and co. thankfully squashed all skepticism and delivered a creative masterpiece. It may not have been a 'match', as advertised, but it was one of the most ingenious ways of telling a pro wrestling story and the reactions have been mostly positive.

One of the most talked-about moments from the match was WWE addressing Vince McMahon's 'It's good s***' line, which became an online meme after Jon Moxley revealed the WWE Boss' oft-used expression during his appearance on Chris Jericho's podcast after his WWE release.

WrestlingNews.co's Paul Davis reported that Vince McMahon loved the line when he saw the edited version of the match.

The report also revealed that the match was produced by the WWE Crew, unlike the Boneyard Match - which was the handiwork of the NXT team.

Wyatt unsurprisingly had a lot of creative input in the match that showcased the best and worst of John Cena over the years.

The match was funny, gripping and a very entertaining piece that may not be everyone's cup of tea. However, the cinematic and pre-taped style of content could be the future of professional wrestling.

#2. The reason why WWE booked Shayna Baszler to lose

Shayna Baszler losing to Becky Lynch was easily the biggest upset coming out of WrestleMania 36.

Baszler was the overwhelming favorite to win the RAW Women's Championship from Becky Lynch but WWE made the decision to give 'The Man' a fluky win.

Dave Meltzer revealed in the Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE booked Baszler to lose as they want the feud to continue.

WWE was not ready to take the title off Lynch just yet while also wanting to protect the Queen of Spades, which explained the quick finish to the match.

The WrestleMania match was just the first of many matches in the storyline between Baszler and Lynch, which is expected to go on for the foreseeable future.

Meltzer explained:

In this case, it was like, do we need to change the title now? No, we don't need to. It was a quick win. It wasn't like she beat her with the Disarmher, she beat him with the powerslam or anything like that. Whenever you do a finish like that, the idea is to protect the heel while the babyface sneaks over. That's exactly what this finish is. It came across to me that this was hardly the finale. This is just the first match and they didn't want to change the title and it was a way to kind of like get a win without hurting Shayna. That's clearly what the design was. The basic gist is that they didn't want to change the title and this is what they did and they didn't want to do a DQ.

#1. Triple H allowed The Undertaker and AJ Styles to improvise in the Boneyard match

The Boneyard Match came across as one of the greatest decisions of WWE in recent times. The Undertaker and AJ Styles were phenomenal in the match but they could not have made it all click without the help of the officials that tirelessly worked behind the scenes.

Triple H, in particular, had a very influential role to play in conceptualizing the idea of the match and how it was executed.

WhatCulture's exclusive report stated that The Undertaker and AJ Styles' promo work during the match was completely improvised.

The brawl didn't even have a script and it was an idea pitched by both Undertaker and AJ Styles to make the match even authentic.

Triple H understood the importance of letting Undertaker and Styles be themselves and The Game reportedly encouraged the Superstars to amp up the smack talk during the match.

Triple H's decision to allow Undertaker and Styles to do things on the fly helped make the match even better than it already was.
