SmackDown kicked off with Daniel Bryan coming out to an ovation from the crowd. He briefly talked about his new look before moving onto Bray Wyatt when The Miz came out and said that he plans to take Wyatt's title off of him.

Baron Corbin came out next and made fun of Miz & Bryan, saying that Daniel looked like Baby Yoda. He said that since he made a joke out of Roman Reigns, he should get a shot at Bray's title.

As Corbin was explaining how Bryan and Miz failed as fathers, Dolph Ziggler attacked them. He hit a superkick to Miz while Bryan was caught in an End of Days from Corbin. A tag match was made official between the teams of Bryan & Miz and Corbin & Ziggler.

Backstage, Otis was given a ham by Mandy Rose for his Secret Santa.

The Revival attacked Otis but he fought them off at first. Dawson used a Fire Extinguisher on him and then hit a double Powerbomb through a table. They brought the Christmas tree inside the ring and put Tucker against it.

Dash Wilder went for the slam but Tucker moved aside and Wilder ran face-first into the Christmas Tree. Wilder and Dawson sent Tucker over the commentary table and the ham was dropped.

The Revival destroyed the ham that Otis & Tucker got and Otis got real mad. He emptied a bad of Legos in the ring and dropped both opponents on them. Heavy Machinery hit the compactor for the win.

What really matters is that the ham was almost okay and only a little bit stepped-on.

Backstage, Otis still had the semi-ruined ham and brought it to Mandy Rose who said it was alright, and hugged him and ended up covered in Otis' sweat.

In the ring, The Revival reflected on how they're the butt of every joke when Elias made his entrance. He sang a little Christmas song for them and left.

Backstage, Sami Zayn was about to get Braun Strowman a Secret Santa gift but the only thing Braun wanted was a shot at the Intercontinental title.


Carmella vs. Sonya DeVille

Carmella picked up an easy win

Sonya dominated early on but was slapped in the face by 'Mella. DeVille was angry and taunted Carmella but 'Mella kept the pressure up. Carmella locked in the code of silence for the early submission win.

Result: Carmella def. Sonya DeVille

Sheamus cut another promo on video about the fact that all things change and teased his return to the ring.


The New Day vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro

The heels were dominating early as Shinsuke and Cesaro hit big moves on Kofi. Big E came in and hit Suplex after Suplex on Nakamura before hitting a splash. Cesaro broke the count and Kingston sent hit outside for a dive.

Zayn interrupted and let Cesaro take out E on the outside. Kingston was tagged in and Cesaro took a huge hurricanrana in the ring. Cesaro reversed a finisher but Kodi rolled him up for a quick win.

Result: The New Day def. Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro

Nakamura, Zayn, and Cesaro attacked the New Day after the match and Braun Strowman came out and took the heels out.

Backstage, The Miz thanked Bryan for the help at TLC before they started arguing about how much they disliked each other.


Sasha Banks was out next to support her friend, Bayley.

Bayley hit a clothesline early on and went for a quick cover before calling her stupid. Bayley locked in a headlock but Brooke got out and hit a senton from up top for a near fall. Bayley hit a big move out of nowhere and got the win.

Result: Bayley def. Dana Brooke

After the match, Sasha and Bayley were both taunting Brooke before Lacey Evans came out and chased them out of the ring. She then challenged Banks to a match calling her a Bully and Banks agreed.

Sasha Banks vs. Lacey Evans

Evans challenged Banks to an impromptu match
Evans challenged Banks to an impromptu match

Evans was going at Banks as the match began and Brooke was at ringside to support Lacey. Sasha was dropped on the apron before Bayley distracted Evans, letting Banks get the upper hand.

Banks was beating Lacey in front of her daughter and husband before Bayley and Brooke got involved and the match was called off due to a double count-out.

Result: DNF

The Miz & Daniel Bryan vs. King Corbin & Dolph Ziggler

Bryan and Miz were arguing off the bat about who would start and the heels attacked them both. Bryan tagged Miz in as they both hit the 'it' kicks to either opponent. The heels were dominating during the commercials and Daniel Bryan managed to turn it around but took a Deep Six.

Bryan hit Corbin with a missile dropkick and tagged in the Miz. Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Corbin but Ziggler took him out. Miz locked in a Figure 4 on Ziggler and Bryan took out Corbin who tried to interfere. Ziggler tapped out and that was it!

Result: The Miz & Daniel Bryan def. King Corbin & Dolph Ziggler

As the match finished, the lights went out in the arena and we could hear Wyatt laughing but the broadcast ended there.

Not a bad chrismas special but some of the matches were lacking. The street fight and the main event stole the show.
