In professional wrestling, the louder the noise you make, the more you get noticed. When you come to the biggest organization in the world, it all depends on what kind of impact you can make, and how big a buzz you create. Some of the superstars were lucky enough to shake up the wrestling world during their debut, and most of them went on to have a great career in the WWE. When all the stars align, you can create magic, and the same applies for a superstar when he gets a good storyline and a good gimmick. In the history of WWE, there have been certain superstars who were able to do just that, and in this article, we take a look at ten such performers who created shock waves in the industry just by what they did during their debut.

10. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is arguably the only guy in the WWE that has seen a meteoric rise in his career. He was on the main roster for only two years, but accomplished more than most of the legends in the industry. Within his first year, he won the prestigious King of the Ring tournament, and within three months of his debut he captured the Undisputed WWE championship, and was termed the ‘Next Big Thing’ by Paul Heyman and Vince McMahon! Brock Lesnar’s debut was just as emphatic as him being the youngest WWE champion in the history of this business! He took out not one, not two, but three guys at a time! Talk about making a statement.

9. Eric Bischoff

There haven’t been many people who were successful in pushing Vince McMahon to the limits. Vince has always won all of his battles, whether it was against the US Government, state policies or his talent relations. But there was only one person in the history of this industry that was successful in beating Vince for nearly two years, and that was none other than Eric Bischoff. Eric took WCW and catapulted it over the WWF; and even though Vince hated Eric’s guts, he gave the devil his due. Eric was considered to be Vince’s biggest foe. Thus, when Eric Bischoff appeared on RAW as the new GM of the show, people couldn’t believe it. That was the true ‘Oh my God!’ moment in professional wrestling if there ever was one, as the entire industry shook to its very foundation!

8. The Radicalz

When WWF beat WCW and took an unattainable lead in the Monday Night Wars, WCW didn’t learn its lesson. They still put the Hogans and Nashs at the top while holding the young blood down. So four performers, who were tired with the politics in WCW, jumped ships and joined WWF. Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn came to WWF and wreaked havoc with their very first appearance, beating down the New Age Outlaws and the team of Al Snow and Steve Blackman. The fans went into frenzy on watching the debut of the Radicalz, which to this day is one of the most memorable debuts in the history of professional wrestling.

7. The Shield

Every year in the summer, WWE comes out with a huge storyline that captivates fans all over the world. The Nexus, Summer of Punk and then last year, the debut of The Shield created huge waves in the professional wrestling industry. Three superstars were brought to the main roster, and were given the ball to take on the main eventers from the get go; and what a marathon it has been for Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns! Dean Ambrose was supposed to make his debut earlier with Mick Foley, but they kept those plans on hold and came out with something that left the Internet Wrestling Community begging for more. The Shield took apart Ryback, John Cena and countless other superstars, including legends such as The Undertaker! This easily earns them a spot on the list.

6. Nexus

NXT season one turned out to be a success with the right mix of experience (Like Bryan Danielson) and youth; and at the end of the season, Wade Barrett won the competition. But on RAW, Barrett came out during the main event and led the others in a vicious attack on WWE employees and performers. It was the first time in history of WWE that something like that happened. Not only did it create the biggest impact in professional wrestling, but made few unknown performers mega stars over night! Although the rest of the storyline was sloppy and poorly executed, the idea was simply sensational. This earns Nexus the number 6 spot on the list.
