DC vs CSK, IPL 2023: List of Impact Players in today's match

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have won the toss and chose to bat first against the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday, May 20.

CSK have retained the same playing XI that lost against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their last game. DC, meanwhile, have made a few changes to their line-up that won against the Punjab Kings (PBKS).

Here is the list of the Impact Player subs in today's match:

Delhi Capitals: Mukesh Kumar, Prithvi Shaw, Praveen Dubey, Ripal Patel, and Abishek Porel.

Chennai Super Kings: Matheesha Pathirana, Mitchell Santner, Subhranshu Senapati, Shaik Rasheed, and Akash Singh.

While Prithvi Shaw came n for Khaleel Ahmed for DC, Matheesha Pathirana replaced Shivam Dube for CSK.

Speaking at the toss, CSK skipper MS Dhoni predicted that the wicket is dry and it will get slower as the game progresses.

"We will bat first," Dhoni said. "That's what we've been trying to do (to qualify) from the first game. You have to win, that's how it's supposed to be. We're playing with the same eleven.

"We feel it's a balanced side and doesn't need many changes. Feels like a dry pitch and it will only get slower as the game goes on. Also, day game, so of course that plays a part."

DC captain David Warner, on the other hand, admitted that they have failed to adapt to home conditions and will try to do that in their final of the game season.

"It's about consistency and adapting to your home conditions. We haven't been able to do that this season. We have to come out to play and today is all about spoiling the CSK's party," Warner said.
