MS Dhoni subtly acknowledges fan while riding bike in Ranchi post IPL 2025; video goes viral [Watch]

Veteran Indian cricketer and former skipper MS Dhoni subtly acknowledged a fan while riding his bike in Ranchi post the IPL 2025 season. Dhoni led the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) after Ruturaj Gaikwad was ruled out five games into the tournament.

In a video posted by a user on Instagram, MS Dhoni can be seen riding his bike and entering the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) premises. While entering, a fan greeted Dhoni, to which the former Indian skipper subtly nodded his head, acknowledging the fan.

Dhoni can be seen riding a Yamaha 350 Torque Induction bike, dressed in a yellow t-shirt, tracks, with his backpack and shoes on. He had a black helmet on as well.

As for the IPL 2025 season, despite Dhoni taking over captaincy, CSK had a poor outing. They failed to make the playoffs and finished at the bottom of the table, with just four wins out of their 14 games.

MS Dhoni inducted into ICC Hall of Fame

MS Dhoni is among the seven legends to be inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in a ceremony held at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London. Dhoni is the only captain to have won all three ICC white-ball trophies (T20 World Cup 2007, ODI World Cup 2011, and Champions Trophy 2013).

"It is an honour to be named in the ICC Hall of Fame, which recognises the contributions of cricketers across generations and from all over the world. To have your name remembered alongside such all-time greats is a wonderful feeling. It is something that I will cherish forever," he said upon his induction. (via Hindustan Times).

After Sunil Gavaskar, Bishan Singh Bedi, Kapil Dev, Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Vinoo Mankad, Dian Edulji, Virender Sehwag, and Neetu David, Dhoni became the 11th Indian cricketer to be inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.

The veteran has scored over 17,000 international runs in his career across formats. Turning up for CSK every season, he continues to take an active part in the IPL as well.
