In the previous episode, Sho Kusakabe concluded that he had to meet his brother, Shinra, following an Adolla Link. As such, he escaped the Nether, accompanied by his guardian, Arrow. Meanwhile, Haumea and other White Clad members held a mass and initiated the Great Cataclysm's final preparations.

Elsewhere, Akitaru Obi met the leaders of Companies 2 and 4 and urged them to help Company 8 during the Cataclysm. On the other hand, the episode focused on Schop, who arrived in Tokyo to inform Shinra and others about the nature of the Cataclysm and how it differed from the one that had failed. The episode ended with a giant pillar rising from the Pacific Ocean near Tokyo's port, marking the Cataclysm's advent.

According to the preview synopsis, Fire Force season 3 episode 11 will continue the events from the previous episode and follow the beginning of the Great Cataclysm. As fans would know, a massive pillar emerged from the depths of the Pacific Ocean after Sumire had performed a stellar earthquake.

People near the port were stupefied to see such a sight unfolding. Undoubtedly, the pillar is connected to the advent of the Great Cataclysm. As per the Fire Force season 3 episode 11 preview, Shinra suggests that they (Company 8) go and mobilize. However, the 8th won't be able to act rashly since the empire has branded them traitors.

As such, the episode is guaranteed to feature exhilarating action scenes.

That said, Shinra won't let fate dictate terms. He will likely head to the scene and intercept the Infernal himself (the preview images hint at that). Most importantly, the episode will reveal the true nature of the Pillar and why destroying it could be a bad idea for Tokyo.
