Tadaima, Okaeri episode 7, titled I'm Home, Welcome Home, saw Masaki belittling himself. In response, Hiromu retold some of the daily events that made Masaki extremely happy, calming the latter.

The next day, Kazuhiko apologized to Masaki for the way he spoke to him. This helped him get Hikari's approval, right after which he handed the letter from Masaki's mother to him.

Episode 7 later saw Hikari wanting to run an errand after receiving a frog purse from his grandfather. Given the risk of going out, Hiromu, Yuuki, and Matsuo wished to keep an eye on him, but Hikari kept getting distracted every time.

When Hikari was finally ready to run his errand, it began pouring. While his original errand was postponed for later, Hikari ran a new errand, which was to deliver an umbrella to Masaki and Hinata.
