Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 260 featured a lot of surprises, and Aoi Todo's replacement for his left hand, aka the Vibraslap, was one of them. Having lost his left hand during the Shibuya arc, it was initially declared by Todo himself that his Boogie Woogie technique had ceased to exist.

As such, fans were surprised to see Todo not only entering the fray to uplift Yuji's fighting spirit once again, but also being able to use his Boogie Woogie technique against Sukuna. Furthermore, his usage of the Vibraslap, a unique instrument that apparently allowed him to make use of his lost technique again, led fans to question: What is the Vibraslap exactly and how does it work?

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 260: Explaining the usage of Vibraslap and how it helped Todo regain his technique

At the very beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 260, Aoi Todo was seen unveiling an instrument that was attached in place of his left hand, called the Vibraslap. It is a musical instrument that includes a ball and a wooden box, which has a metal bar or 'teeth' inside it.

The Vibraslap was revealed to be not just a simple musical instrument but rather the key to activating the Boogie Woogie technique. Striking the ball against the wooden box results in the metal inside oscillating wildly, which in turn produces a characteristic sound that activates the technique.

The original Boogie Woogie technique required Todo to clap his hands together in order to swap places with his target. However, after replacing his left hand with the instrument, Todo effectively changed the activation condition for his technique from applause to collision between the metal teeth and the wooden box, as each time the metal strikes the box, it is registered as a sound similar to his original clap.

With this special modification, he can use his swapping technique up to fifty times in one second. Additionally, Todo imposed a Binding Vow upon himself, limiting the number of swaps that can happen per shake.

This upgraded Boogie Woogie technique proved to be tremendously effective and deceptive even for Ryomen Sukuna, as he admitted at one point that it was practically impossible to get used to this technique.

Given that Todo can now swap multiple people at once as well, he effectively controlled the entire battlefield like a puppet master, giving Yuji multiple openings to land powerful hits while simultaneously disorienting Sukuna. Furthermore, Todo had also managed to successfully retrieve his allies trapped inside Malevolent Shrine before entering the battlefield himself.

Todo's Vibraslap allowed him to completely throw Sukuna off his game, as the latter admitted that the former was the last person he wanted to show up in the fight at this point in time. By trapping the King of Curses in what seemed like a game of Roulette, Todo helped Yuji land several powerful attacks on Sukuna.

By far, the most impressive use of the Vibraslap came when Todo managed to trap Sukuna in three whole layers of deception by making the latter guess where he could swap Yuji in and then feinting it by swapping in Mei Mei's crows instead. This gave Yuji the opening he needed, as he landed a devastating Black Flash on Sukuna, which tore into his body.

As such, the Vibraslap not only brought back Todo's lost Boogie Woogie technique, but it also improved it to an extent where he was able to completely turn the tables on Sukuna and outsmart him.
