Cam Cannarellais an American college baseball outfielder for the Clemson Tigers baseball team. He joined the Clemson Tigers in 2023 after completing his high school career. In his freshman season in 2023, he made an impressive mark by being ranked fourth in Clemson Tiger history in batting average.

Not only this, but he also received recognition as the pre-season first-team All-American by D1 Baseball, as well as being named preseason second-team All-American by Baseball America, NCBWA, and Perfect Game. He was also named pre-season first-team All-ACC by Perfect Game. Additionally, his performance on the field led to him being recognized as the No. 7 prospect for the 2025 draft in the pre-season by Perfect Game.

Cam Cannarella’s College Career

Cam Cannarella joined Clemson University in 2023 to major in Sports Communication, and he made a name for himself as a standout player on the Clemson Tigers baseball team representing the university in NCAA Division I college baseball. In his freshman season, Cannarella started his college career on a 14-game hitting streak and a 30-game on-base streak.

During his debut game on February 17, 2023, against Binghamton, Cannarella went 1-for-3 with an RBI, two runs, a walk, and a stolen base. His performance in baseball matches earned him recognition as a freshman All-American, All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) team member, and the ACC Freshman of the Year. Cam also tied for eighth in Tiger history in singles with 71 hits.

In his freshman year, he also tied for 15th in the nation in hits (97) and 17th in hits per game (1.64). He ranked first in hits among freshmen nationwide, third in batting average among freshmen, and first among Power 5 Conference freshmen. In 2024, in his sophomore season, he is already ranked as the top prospect for the 2025 MLB draft.
