Introduced in many Call of Duty series, including Cold War, the return of Prop Hunt in Black Ops 6 has frustrated many fans after trying it out. Following a recent update, this mode was introduced in Bo6 with certain changes made to the present content.
However, this has left some Call of Duty players disappointed, as they started a debate online. The changes were expressed in a recent Reddit post by u/_Jaffamuncher, where they said:
“Some of my gripes with it include: Flashes do f**k all against the hunters. Hunters have unlimited ammo. Zero penalty for just mindlessly spraying. Best play doesn’t show where the last surviving prop was. Fix these things and it could be a lot better.”
Replying to the post, user u/theunlikelycabbage expressed their opinion. According to them, the mode should come with a movement buff and include smaller Prop options. They added that the rounds are too long to play:
User u/GulliverShagNasty shared similar frustration. According to them, unlimited ammo is the biggest concern of this mode. This allows hunters to take down every asset in the game with no repercussions. In their opinion, limiting ammo and replenishing it with every kill the team gets would work better.

User u/Semour9 said that players randomly shoot at every object in the game without being penalized. According to them, the rounds are also too long and the developers have made things worse with the recent changes:
User u/brianxhopkins sought a change of the Lowtown map from the Prop Hunt mode. According to them, the map is poorly designed and partially underwater, which is inappropriate for this mode:
However, some others appeared to be in favor of the latest changes. According to them, they enjoyed the mode. One user also found bugs on the Babylon map, while others shared their winning experiences. Some criticized CoD players who seem to complain continuously without appreciating the changes.

CoD players criticize highly-awaited Prop Hunt mode in Black Ops 6
The latest Prop Hunt featured some minor changes in Black Ops 6. In it, Hunters don’t lose their health for shooting the wrong props, unlike the original version. Apart from this, the biggest issue lies in the unlimited ammo, which enables players to randomly spray objects in the game. These changes appear to have made the game unfair and slightly in favor of Hunters.
Moreover, the maps available in this mode are small, making it too easy for them to identify props. Hence, based on user comments, it appears the community is expecting these issues to be fixed.
