The Call of Duty MW3 and Warzone Season 5 pre-load is now available for PC and PlayStation users. This option is crucial and helpful, as it allows players to download and install the update in advance, allowing them to hop into the action immediately when the update releases, instead of waiting to download it on the release day itself.
This article provides the pre-load size for MW3 and Warzone Season 5 for PC and PlayStation users.
What is the pre-load size for MW3 and Warzone Season 5 on PC and PlayStation?
The Call of Duty MW3 and Warzone Season 5 update has a pre-load size of 23.30 GB on PC (Battle.net). The pre-load size on the PlayStation platform stands at 22.376 GB. This update size is similar to the Season 4 Reloaded update but larger than the initial Season 4 update.
The size is justified due to various new additions to the game. Notably, a new POI from Verdansk will be added to Warzone, and two new core maps will be introduced in MW3. Additionally, the update will include new modes, events, weapons, and more.

Warzone and MW3 Season 5 expected content
With the release of the content drop blog, nearly everything coming to Warzone and MW3 has been revealed. Here's a brief overview of what to expect from both titles:
Warzone
In Warzone, a new POI named Urzikstan Superstore will be added, inspired by the original Superstore POI from the fan-favorite Verdansk map. To help players get acquainted with this new location while offering something fresh, a new mode called Superstore Resurgence will be available at launch, centered around this new POI.
A new public event called Bounty Contest will also be introduced at launch within the Resurgence mode. When this event activates, every squad will instantly receive a Bounty Contract to complete within a designated time.
Furthermore, a few other upcoming additions have been revealed, including another new mode called Supreme Resurgence, new features like Elite Contracts, and another public event called Recon Flyover. However, these are set to arrive in the mid-season update, not at the immediate launch of the season.
Modern Warfare 3
In MW3, two brand new maps, Bait and Switch, will be introduced at launch along with two map variants: Celship, a cel-shaded version of the Shipment map, and Toonoxide, a cel-shaded version of the Rust map.
A new mode called COD Warrior will also be released at launch, featuring three teams of two members each in a 2v2v2 format, with a series of randomized mini-games like Beat Up the Car!, Bullet Time!, Fire!, and 12 more.
Another new mode, Slam Deathmatch, will be added post-launch. In this mode, players can only down their enemies with weapons but need to perform a finishing move to eliminate them.
Additionally, three new modes—Fishfection, Paintball, and Defuse and Destroy—will be introduced during the mid-season update, along with another map variant called Ink House.
