Activision has reportedly banned the number one player on the Black Ops 6 multiplayer ranked leaderboard. According to the latest post by popular CoD news channel ModernWarzone, the number one player on the leaderboard, "Hanser," has just been banned, and their name was also removed from the ranked list. This seemingly confirms that the Black Ops 6 Ranked Play contains cheaters, and the top 250 leaderboard is also not safe from them.
Read on to learn more about the current situation regarding cheating issues in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Black Ops 6 multiplayer is filled with cheaters, and Activision has started banning them
Since the release of Ranked Play, players have been complaining about a massive surge in cheaters in Black Ops 6. Previously, players have raised questions when a player called "F71 saad" reached the top 250 leaderboard in less than 24 hours, which almost seemed impossible. Now, the number one player allegedly getting banned from the same leaderboard emphasizes the gravity of the situation. However, Activision is now taking action against them.
With the rising concern regarding cheating in Black Ops 6, the community shows massive disappointment. As a response, on November 26, Activision revealed that its anti-cheat system Ricochet has detected over 19,000 accounts, and has banned them immediately.
Given that Black Ops 6 is a paid game, or it can be played via the Game Pass, the number of cheaters is concerning. This also raises questions about whether Call of Duty will be able to give users a smooth Warzone Ranked experience or not as it's a free-to-play title.
