Warzone will bring Resurgence to fan-favorite Verdansk POI in Season 5

Call of Duty has previously announced that the fan-favorite Verdansk POI, Superstore will return as a part of the current Warzone Urzikstan map in Season 5. With the upcoming phase's content overview being released, it has been confirmed that a dedicated Resurgence mode will be added to the Verdansk POI.

This upcoming mode will be called Superstore Resurgence and will be available at Season 5's launch. Read on to learn more about Superstore Resurgence in Warzone Season 5.

What to expect from Superstore Resurgence in Warzone Season 5?

The upcoming Superstore Resurgence will bring back Verdansk's Atlas Superstore in Warzone. The usual rule of Resurgence will be applied in this mode. However, there will be 28 players instead of the usual 40. Given that it will be a single POI, we can expect more chaotic gameplay than usual. According to the official blog, each game will be ten minutes long, and the custom-made mode is expected to have relatively rapid pacing.

Here is a small description from the official Season 5 overview blog,

"This is a custom-made experience focusing on the Superstore POI, dropping 28 players into a ten-minute match with the emphasis on who can control the roof and aisles and other chokepoints throughout the location. Compact combat, vicious firefights, and rapid pacing make this an instantly satisfying mode you can drop into again and again."

As the fan-favorite map Verdansk is rumored to return to Warzone next year, this is a great time to reminisce your memory of the og map. If you are not a Warzone veteran, you can get a taste of Verdansk in this experience. Warzone Season 5 will go live on July 24.
