
The Karl Malone Award is a basketball award that is given annually by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and is awarded to the top men's collegiate power forward in the sport of basketball.
The award is named after Karl Malone, an American former professional basketball player who had a career in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Malone is a 14-time NBA All-Star and an 11-time All-NBA First Team player.
The Karl Malone Award was introduced as one of four new awards during the inaugural College Basketball Awards show in 2015. The other three new awards are the Jerry West Award, the Julius Erving Award, and the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award.
