Mark Mitchell is a basketball power forward for the Missouri Tigers, as of 2024. Mitchell is a native of Kansas and attended Bishop Miege High School. After spending two seasons with Bishop Meige, he switched to Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire.

Mark Mitchell won the DiRenna Award and led Bishop Miege's team to the Kansas Class 4A State Championship. During his tenure with the Sunrise Christian, he was named to the 2022 McDonald's All-American Boys Game.

Upon graduating high school as a five-star recruit, Mitchell opted for Duke University in 2022. He started 35 games as a starter at forward in his freshman year, scoring 9.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and shooting 46.9% from the field. In 33 games as a starter in his sophomore campaign, Mitchell averaged 11.6 points, 6 rebounds, and a 54% shooting percentage from the field.

He had five 20-point games, three double-doubles, and scored in double figures in 21 out of 33 games. On January 6, 2024, he scored a career-high 23 points and 14 rebounds against Notre Dame. On February 12, 2024, he scored 23 points against Wake Forest.
