According to Rivals, ESPN, and 247Sports, Tramon Mark was a 4-star recruit. 247Sports also listed him as the sixth-best player in the state of Texas. In his first season in the high school, he averaged 15.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, earning him the title of District 24-6A Newcomer of the Year. In his sophomore season, he averaged 18.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game, earning him the title of District 24-6A Offensive Most Valuable Player. As a junior, he averaged 26.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game. Mark averaged 29.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game in his final year, as per Houston Cougars' official website. He passed on Texas A&M, TCU, Oklahoma, and California in favor of Houston.

Tramon Mark played in all 32 games as a freshman, helping Houston to the NCAA Final Four with a 28-4 overall record (14-3 AAC). According to ESPN, He averaged 1.7 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 7.8 points per game as a freshman. He only played in seven games and was given a medical redshirt year in his sophomore year due to a shoulder injury that ended his season. Mark transferred to Arkansas Razorbacks in 2023, and played in 31 games as a redshirt junior averaging 16.2 points per game. As of January 2025, he transferred to Texas Longhorns for his final year of collegiate eligibility and averaged 9.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists, as per ESPN.
