ASU offensive lineman Ben Coleman recently graduated with a degree in communication and will play his final year of college football. Coleman began his high school football career at Linfield Christian School where he was the team captain in each of his last three years. Coleman was a two-way player at Linfield playing as both a defensive and offensive lineman and was rated a three-star recruit by every major sports outlet. In both his sophomore and junior years, Coleman totaled 115 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 19 quarterback hurries, and one forced fumble. Following his prep career, Coleman has received offers from several top-tier programs like Arizona, Arizona State, Florida, Iowa State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oregon, UCLA, and a few more.

The three-star prospect chose to start his collegiate football career with the California Golden Bears. In his true freshman season in 2019, Coleman redshirted as he did not play the entire year. The following year, Coleman played in four games and did not record any statistics. However, Coleman became a key member in the Bears offense and was considered their best player in 2022 before his move to Arizona State later that year. Last season as a junior, Coleman ruptured his Achilles tendon and sat for the entire year. The senior graduate is expected to play a key role at left guard ahead of the 2024 season.
