DeAndre Moore Jr. plays as a wide receiver for the Texas Longhorns. Moore went to St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California. Moore Jr. finished his senior year with 483 receiving yards, eight touchdowns, and one touchdown. When Moore Jr. graduated from high school, he was ranked as a four-star prospect, the eighth-best player in California, and the 17th wide receiver overall in the 2023 class.

Moore Jr. was chosen to play in the 2023 All-American Bowl and was named an All-America and All-League honoree. He was a member of the St. John Bosco team that MaxPreps declared national champions in 2022 and was selected on the 2023 Polynesian Bowl roster.

Additionally, he had offers from USC, Alabama, Florida State, Louisville, Texas, Oklahoma, and Oregon. Moore Jr. initially committed to play football for the Oklahoma Sooners in college. However, he changed his decision to play for the Louisville Cardinals and de-commit from the Sooners. Moore Jr. flipped his decision the second time and decided to sign with the Texas Longhorns. In two seasons with the Longhorns, Moore Jr. has featured in 25 match-ups and started in 15. He also participated in the Peach Bowl on January 1, 2025, recording two receptions for 25 yards and one touchdown against the Arizona State Sun Devils.
