Jayden Maiava is one of the most sought-after quarterbacks who most recently joined the USC Trojans to take his football journey forward. Maiava began his high school football career at Sierra Vista and Kaimuki High School before playing his final prep season at Liberty High School. For Kaimuki, he passed for 3,317 yards and 41 touchdowns. In his final season, Maiava led Liberty to the State Championship game and threw for 2,027 yards and 24 touchdowns. Last season, Maiava had a productive season with the Rebels starting in all 14 gamers and racking up 3,085 passing yards including 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while rushing for 277 yards on 73 carries. After the end of the 2023 regular season, Maiava earned the MWC Freshman of the Year award. He decided to enter the transfer portal to transfer to Georgia before flipping his decision to join the USC Trojans with three years of eligibility remaining.
