Jedd Fisch is a college football coach and has been appointed by the Washington Huskies as the head coach in 2024. Fisch has managed both, collegiate programs and NFL teams. Before joining the Huskies, he was at the University of Arizona for three years and had huge success. Throughout his coaching career, he was guided by some of the top head coaches, such as Spurrier, Belichick, Brian Billick, Pete Carroll, and Jim Harbaugh.

In 2023, his Wildcats team finished the season with a 10-3 record and also won the Alamo Bowl game against Oklahoma. His team was ranked No. 11 in the final AP Top 25. His offensive unit was potent, averaging 448 yards and 36.1 points per game. The defensive unit was also impressive, they recorded 34 sacks and led the conference in the red zone. Fisch helped quarterback Noah Fifita win the Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year award. He was selected for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year and the Dodd Trophy award for his remarkable 2023 season.

Jedd Fisch Coaching History

Jedd Fisch has been coaching college teams and a few NFL teams since 1997. Fisch began as a graduate assistant at the University of Florida under head coach Steve Spurrier. He became the defensive quality control coach for the Houston Texans in 2002. He was an offensive assistant for the Baltimore Ravens from 2004-2007 and was the wide receivers coach for the Denver Broncos in 2008. Fisch began his college coaching career at Minnesota as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. He was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Miami, Michigan, and UCLA. He coached as a quarterbacks coach under Bill Belichick with the Seahawks and New England Patriots. He also gained vital NFL experience as an offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars and was the senior offensive assistant for the Los Angeles Rams. Fisch coached some of the finest players such as Pete Carroll, Brian Billick, and Jim Harbaugh. He first became the head coach at Arizona in 2021 and left for Washington in 2024.
