Jonah Savaiinaea is an offensive tackle, playing college football for the Arizona Wildcats until the 2024-25 season. Savaiinaea was born on January 13, 2004, in Tafuna, American Samoa. He went to Saint Louis School in Honolulu, Hawaii. Upon the completion of his high school career, Jonah Savaiinaea was a three-star recruit and chose to enroll with the Arizona Wildcats over offers from several other schools.

In 2022, Savaiinaea started all 12 games at right guard as a freshman. He earned FWAA freshman All-American honors and All-Pac-12 honorable mention. In 2023, he played both right guard and tackle, starting all 13 games. Savaiinaea again received All-Pac-12 honorable mention recognition.
